I agree! I’ve been in many fights, and never pulled out anything additional. And they had no idea I had the ability to do so. And there have been other times I have just flat out, walked away.

The old Jeff Cooper line. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck. Good advice right there. Do everything you can to avoid fighting because in the real world, you never know what that person's intentions are, what they have on them, how many of their buddies you don't notice are waiting to jump in, etc. Just not worth getting killed over. If you find yourself unable to avoid fighting, give them everything you've got, use any and all force necessary to stop the threat and get away as soon as humanly possible. Some of the scariest, toughest people I know are guys you will never guess, because they are smart enough to avoid starting shit and don't advertise their skill.
