Nice ute, should come up well with a bit of TLC, will subscribe to see where this goes. I bought a BA mk2 XR8 ute a bit over 12 months ago, love the thing. Something like a bluepower airbox instead of that snorkel will tidy it up and also gives an amazing induction roar, adding high flow cats (and also extractors and then a tune if you want to go further) cleans up the V8 burble a fair bit at lower revs too
Congrats on your purchase. I have seen many B series for sale (as I was after one) and some have big neglect and look like a pig. Your ute has big potential as the defects seem minor in comparison to many that I have seen. The headlining sag is normal considering its age. Your ICC is an upgrade to 'Prestige' although it has a normal monochrome facia. Then the 'Premium' colour screen with the knobs and 'Luxury' climate control with the dash oval clock. I love the leather as it gives it a nice touch. I do love the B-series as there is something about it. You have the newer 'Aggressor' rims that were optioned on the late series BFII (many call it MK2.1 and doesn't come with BFII) with the different and older centre caps. Thanks mate, you're absolutely right! I had totally forgotten about the prestige option that sat between standard and premium sound. Makes even more sense now that it has the tweeters in the A pillar.
