Ross the Boss plays Manowar songs on guitar 

What's really cool about this performance is that Ross plays the solos as faithfully as he did on the albums. Not alot of guitarists do that.

Great guitarist. Manowar will never be the same without Ross The Boss. I saw him in concert with his band back in 2009 and it was awesome.

Back when Manowar had riffs...not just chugga chugga chord progressions...I still love both but still...

He's on a so different level than the later guitarists of Manowar. David is a good shredder, and the figure after that was not only a pervert, but a good example of mechanic shredding, yet didn't write one decent riff. But Ross had some soul, raw power, and finesse, too.

Even through a shitty 20 watt amp, you can still hear the tone, feel and soul you can hear on the first 6 Manowar albums...

It is strange how Man0waR didn't have a guitar player after Ross, who had a good tone and vibrato. Karl's vibrato was really poor and so were his bends live. Ross' feel and touch are untouchable and not to mention some epic riff writing.

Ross should be in manowar right now,their not gonna be around forever,and the new guitar players they're using these days just don't cut it I saw one show that was downright embarrassing (the one where the guitar player totally butchered the solo)that guy should never have even been on stage.The Day The Earth Shook double DVD that includes this as a bonus disc is one of the best live recording of a manowar show I've seen so far.

Watching this video it's very clear why Manowar sounded noticeably different after Kings of Metal. Don't get me wrong. I really enjoyed Triumph of Steel, Louder Than Hell, Warriors of the world etc. However how do you replace the man whom wrote your best material?

This had to be special for Ross. The original guitarist and co founder of Manowar. I stopped listening to Manowar after Kings of Metal. It wasn't the same after Ross was forced out of the band. The first 6 albums are their best material and the Guitar and Keyboard playing of Ross was just as important to the Sound of Manowar as Eric's vocals or Joey's Bass playing and either Scott or Donnie's drumming.

And he was probably playing in America 😂
