In this video we test out the different rotary sanders on the market. If you have something better out there hit me up. I would love to try new stuff. But in this video I show using a harbor freight polisher to rotary sand along with the dewalt and makitas.

I’ve been on the fence for one for about a year but after this video I’m sold, especially after seeing how easily you can sand a 22.5 or tops of tanks! Thanks Evan! 👍

Bright Lee polished metals made an adapter extension shaft for himself that's on a hollow tube that rides on bearings so he can rotary the back wall with the full size grinders.

I use the Chicago eletric 7 inch polisher for sanding back walls on 22.5s and 24.5s. It's plenty small to do them mounted 22.5s are still tricky, IL be ordering the new dewalt soon the Chicago eletrics last me about 6 months and I warranty then so it's hard to spend 300 bucks when I have one that works

Even I tryed using the 41/2" grinder with a used cut wheel an yes it does go into places that are tight

I'm so excited the Inox is out there. It is a pain to cram the Makita into a 22.5!

Took me a minute, but I found the Arnoux online I had to have it! Can’t wait to try it! Thank you so much for the video and review! Now can you please come out with some 6 inch wheels so I can try polishing with this thing when I get it tomorrow lol The Makita just kills my wrists after a while

I am working on making 5" buffs for the tops of tanks with the inox. I'm hoping to have them out soon.

@@EvanStegerMetalPolishing just saw your video using the white 8 inch buff with the Inox. I understand you were going at a slower speed, but can I use that at 6000 RPM with a orange or yellow buff? Just received mine last night, and I have a customer dump truck to do when I’m done with my loads for the day. I would really love to be able to cut with that Inox.

Depends which buffer. Some companies rate them higher than they are. But traditionally I do not recommend over 6,000.

You're finishing standing though you should always be it about 5,500 you're keeping their lines much closer together and it's a much smoother scratch
@markhutchinson8474

I don't even own orbital anymore rotary scratch is actually much easier to polish out than an orbital when done correctly but the only time I use an interface pad is on my last two grits

@@EvanStegerMetalPolishing I purchased one about three months ago and I like it . I just find that it stops so fast it can undo the nut at times . I watch your videos alot although you make it look so easy then I go out and try to duplicate and I continue to fail . I do enjoy your videos . Thanks for putting them out .
