honestly I'd have given it a go if I was there. Not sure if I'm allergic to pineapple, because I love it but it also makes my mouth really burn and then go numb for a while. Nothing life threatening if I am, so that pineapple would have gotten eaten XD

As an alternate to pineapple if you are allergic like poor Barry, you could always use peaches. They are lovely roasted, and grilled. Plus that sugar rum mix would add an awesome glaze to them

@@aliyanur9449 Quince is kinda like a cross between an apple and a pear. I don't think you can eat them raw, as they're really hard, but texture-wise, once cooked, I remember them being like a pear, and sour-ish like an apple. Mind you, I've only ever had them in a crumble, and it was ages ago.

When I saw what this was about I thought, "that's just a toy." However, in all honesty, I've never wanted to eat Ben's cooking more than what I just witnessed on this video. The chicken and fish look scrumptious! I adore pineapple and when Ben put the ice cream on top, I was completely sold. I started thinking, is Barry, really, really allergic(?) as Jamie says, "There's a hospital just there." My thinking exactly!! Baz & Jamie, perfect camera takes. Great video! Ben, you've outdone yourself.

So my family has one of these that can slide close. It's really nice for when it's unbearably hot and you don't want to heat up the house with the oven. The slow cooker and rice cooker are also useful in that respect but nothing browns as evenly. You can do a whole roasted head of cauliflower, too, so long as it isn't too big.

Tasmin Kent most people are allergic to the protein dissolving enzyme in pineapple - heat will denature the enzymes and render them safe to eat for people! Little bit of science in with the crazy gadgets!

Guys, I have an idea for Pass it On. The boys will be presented with ingredients on the table. They must look at the ingredients carefully because each one of them will pick 1 item at a time to be used in the recipe. So the catch is the later person needs to remember what items are missing from the table so they can pick an item that can be incorporated into the dish. The order then will be mixed once again to determine who is going to cook first based on the ingredients that the boys have picked.
