I also had the revision surgery. It never gets easier. I had 2 surgeries on the left rotator cuff and 1 surgery on my right. I did 35 years of assembly line work which really took its toll.

Hi, Darcia! I’m so glad you are back to normal. I am in my 14rh week post surgery, and still have a moderate amount of pain. I’m going to PT twice a week and do my stretches and exercises daily. I know I have to be patient. Along with rotator cuff repair, I had biceps tendon repair too, and it seems that is giving me the pain. The surgeon says my cap is still really tight. I know I’ve made a lot of progress so I need to stay positive. Thanks for all your ideas and sharing your journey with others.
Thanks for all the videos. My wife had RCR about 2 months ago. Shoulder is healing fine but serious nerve issues. Severe pain, tingles, discoloration, in operative hand/elbow. Have a EMG scheduled in about a week to try diagnose where exactly nerve is occluded/pinched. Your experience gives us hope. Working with PT and depending on results of test, we’ll see what to do next.
I had surgery about 3 weeks ago and have been looking at how others have healed. Seeing that you had 2 surgeries on your shoulder and its doing good gives me hope. I had 2 spinal fusions because the hardware came apart after a few months from the first surgery, so I know the pain of having to go back in. Glad to see you're doing good

I really do miss being able to do simple things like wash my hair and get dressed without pain.. funny thing is I’m left handed and it’s my right shoulder that is injured and I have no idea how it happened...
I been putting it off for six years 😭 I been trying chiropractors and physical therapy nothing is helping . I had a knee surgery four years ago and now I have to do the other knee but for some reason I am afraid to do my shoulder surgery 🙏 you are giving me hope thanks 🙏

Hi Darcia. I’ve just binge watched all your videos. I need a reverse total shoulder replacement (not yet scheduled). Your videos have been really helpful .. thanks! On one you mentioned a ‘tips’ video but I don’t think I can find it. Any suggestions?
Thank you for the invaluable information. I'm 2 weeks away from rotator cuff surgery. Did you leave hospital with a cold therapy ice machine/shoulder pack? I'm hearing that some doctors offer it and some don't. I'm told it's the best thing for pain. My post-op instructions state that I should take TENS pads to hospital with me -- not the TENS machine? (I do have a message into my surgeon with these questions too). I'm borrowing a friend's lift chair. I plan to sleep in it. Do you think the wedge is a better alternative for sleeping?
Thanks for the comment, and best wishes to you as you recover! As for a bra, you can wear a sleep bra that’s loose enough to pull up over your hips. Or a tube bra that you can pull up over your hips. Or a sticky bra. Or a tank top with a built in bra. Anything that can be pulled up from the feet up. If you have help dressing then you’ll be able to fasten any bra.
I wrap the bra around my waist and prop it up using my doorway so that I can clasp it. I rotate it around so that the cups are in place and pull up the one strap on the bad side using my good hand and then finally run your good arm through the other strap and pull to adjust
