Great job Brain, oops Brian!! That bird looked awesome! I don’t have a rotisserie for any of my pellet grills but I wish I did! Great video and thanks for sharing!!
Pretty slick rotisserie for the GMG, nice that they already had mounts for it! Love doing a rotisserie chicken, yours is looking good Seth! Have a great weekend brother!
Nice looking yard bird there Brian! Definitely juicy and looks delicious. That rotisserie works great and super simple to assemble. Nicely done. Cheers brother!
Just a heads up but you don't need to bring chicken to 165, 165 is instant lethality for bacteria but the same result can be reached at 150 for 2.8 minutes or 155 for .8 minutes. Would highly recommend looking up the poultry pasteurization table, comes in handy when doing things like wings and having some that refuse to hit 165.
How are you liking your DB so far ... I ordered one the beginning of the week from our local fireplace shop, I got the regular prime as I'm not much into the stainless care. Your chicken looked great. BTW ... I went in to buy the TREK after watching your dad's vids, and ended up with a DB ... lol
No matter how many times over the years i have tried and all the differentmethodsand fats I'veadded or not, I have never been able to get a crispy chicken doing it rotisserie on my Green Mountain pellet grill.
I have this exact same setup and will be putting a bird on the rotisserie shortly. Your chicken looks fantastic. 2 questions --how do you determine where on the rod to put the counterweight? And if you had 2 birds on there, is a counterweight needed?
I been looking at the thermometer your using ever since I watched this so I been doing some research on the cordless therms out there so how accurate is it and how long does it report to the station? I guess I am wanting to know how long the cordless probe stays charged? I am also looking at the redi check version but I think they only run for 3 hours which is ok for me cause I don’t pay much attention to temp until it wrapped if that makes sense
The Meater + for me so far has been spot on accurate and I think it’ll go over 24 hours on a single charge. I’ve used it for a 10 hour cook and had no issues.
@@MadHorseBBQ nice thanks bud I gonna order one ☝️ and use your code 🤙🏼 btw I ran two chickens on that rotisserie tonight lol learned a lot of lessons!!! I ran at 350 and blew the skin I gonna try again but my family loves it I am just a psycho when it comes to the look of my cooks I think I gonna run a ole beer can chicken on 250
