Asuming both have sound temperaments Do you think that a well socialized Rottie can get along with a well socialized corso? Is there More or less possibilies of agression from one breed to the other? From one sex to the other?
With two dominant dogs there is always potential (especially in tact males). But if they are both well socialized then it’s really unlikely that any physical altercation will happen
So my pup is 5 months old and he is a rottie/cane corso mix. I have been watching your videos because we are really struggling with him biting my kids.

my rottweiler helps me when i play attack the kids? is that weird or normal? She doesnt hurt them thank goodness but she pushes them will nibble on their fingers or lick em like crazy since she knows no biting. shes 8 and a half months, 85 pounds, and just went into heat a couple days ago.

my rottie female has a cane corso we see on our walk who was almost 120 pounds at 11 months and very tall, beautiful and very sweet this corso is but my rottie was scared a couple months back and i worry she may still be. The corso tries to lay down, run with and wants to see bella but she cowers away even though when hes on bella will encourage him to come and play. Its a weird situation, im hoping since shes bigger maybe shell stop being so scared with him and play.
I have had both and still have a male rottweiler. The cane Corso was Way stronger, but not Way lower drive. I guess my Old Corso just would give in in a figth. My rottweiler just never give up, he can play with both male and bitches of dogs in any size. He just dont tolerate Young dogs trying to dominate him.

Some of The breeds included were mastiffs, ptibulls, dobermans, German Shepherds And the Cane corso. The highest bite force recorded out of them all was the Rottweiler . Source : ( Brassard et el 2020) " Bite force and its relationship to jaw shape in domestic dogs" Quote :"The dogs with the highest bite forces in our sample were the largest brachycephalic dogs, such as the rottweiler (2172 N on the carnassial tooth for one individual)" 2172N is equivalent to 488 pounds or 222kg. That was all on ONE TOOTH !!! A carnassial tooth is around half an inch. Times that by 2 and you get the figure of 976psi. Then you have people like this backing these studies. This guy (Richard heinz) is one the biggest protection dog trainers in Miami being called up to new stations to do things like discussing the US presidential dog.
