'Rovos Rail beneath Winter Skies' 

On this chilly winter morning, on the 27th of April - Freedom day in South africa - the majestic Rovos Rail, pulled by two vintage class 5E1 electric locomotives, makes its way northward along the Cape mainline.
In the first scene, the train crosses the Moorivier in a peaceful suburb of Potchefstroom. Followed are scenes along the Potchefstroom to Fochville section of the Cape mainline.
