Full run of my first attempt at Little Mill descent including Rowarth Bottom, it was a lot rougher than i thought it would be and went into it a bit faster than i probably should have on a hardtail, or maybe not fast enough 🤷‍♂️ it felt fast to me either way 🤣
This was just one of the descents i filmed on my recent visit to hayfield.

It takes me about ten minutes to get down there because I lose my bottle 😂 don’t think I’ve ever seen it without walkers too, nicely done!

Try a PNW coast dropper post. It’s has suspension in the dropper. Makes the ride even better when sat down

I used to have a suspension seat post years ago, it was a game changer, didn’t realise they did a dropper version 👍🏻

@@HallMarc_Trails yeah only one company does it at the moment. It’s on a 120mm dropper but 100% worth it. PNW Coast Dropper you want. Absolute life saver on a hardtail! I think tranz might also do it but the dropper is 200mm which is too big for my trek roscoe 9

That is one rocky/rough descent on a hardball. You still fly down it, though. I have a similar Camelbak as that guy riding with you. I am glad the hose doesn't pop off like that.

Thanks mate, it was a lot rockier than I expected, I’ve had my camelback since 2009, I think I’m due a new one 🤣👍🏻

@HallMarc_Trails I still have the original MULE Camelbak from the 90's. Still works. Actually saved me a couple of times in my younger years. I was a rowdy rider in my 20's and went over the bars a couple times and landed on my back. Camelbak was a cushioned landing.

I can safely say my camelback has saved me more than once haha, I’m used to riding with one so will probably carry on using one 👍🏻
