Had been using desertstorm for 4years now. I have not faced any problems. Touchwood! As he said frequent attention not required as people think it needs as newer bikes are better in that. What I noticed is that if u use self start in the morning first time then battery will die in 1.5years and if u start with kicker then battery will die in 2years. Either ways it will die. Chain cleaner and lubrication is required minimum in 500kms and that is required for most vehicles but others don't do it as people give for service frequently. You can use your own cleaner from motomax like insta shine which cost 20rs and then wipe excess with a cloth during rainy season maybe once in 2 weeks and bike will shine plus water won't stick too. Oil change in 3000kms and above would be fair enough. Use the bike atleast once a week not just starting but take a ride. Before turning off and also before starting your ride, give it a good minute to wake up and sleep too. Finally would like to say this bike is not for bikers who thinks I just want to ride rest is companies problem. This is for people who wants to stay connected to bike and feel it. It's like us, will have health issues and we need to care for it and it will not breakdown and if done properly remember that you will not have to buy another bike in your lifetime bcz this will run which after any care no other bike will guarantee. Good video.. But i have a comment on your 1st point about kick starting the bike... You should never kick start a royal enfield because it produces more force than what a sprag clutch recieve from starter motor.. kick starting the bike for regular basis will eventually break the sprag clutch or we can call it as one way starter bearing failure. Royal enfield mechanics doesnot recommend kick starting ... A sprag cost nearly 5k
