Betty has clocked up 1000 miles little review of my bike. 1, Ride along rural lanes and the problems I face ! No sound only bike 2, My review and Chat 3, Faster road (music) Thanks as always
I bought my Halcyon Green Classic last April and have now done 3,000 miles on her “Omega” by the way. I am 69 and have to say the best bike I have owned in 53 years, first time not thinking what shall I get next. What’s even better the bike gets better as the miles rack up, puts a smile on my face no matter how far the journey. The build quality I would say is better than the Interceptor that I rode before choosing the Classic and that single beat is so relaxing. Your video was spot on 😊 My Daughter lives just outside Launceston !
Had my classic signals since late April. 1700 miles. Absolutely love it. Just keeps getting better. Fitted octagonal drop bars, sump guard, canvas panniers, and had the pillion seat and rear pegs removed. Also had some Bridgestone tyres fitted. Looks amazing! Last weekend, I fitted a DNA air filter. Made quite a difference. Good luck mate. 👍
Totally agree with what you say. I have one too, in bronze and chrome, which I bought new last July and it's now done 3800 trouble free miles. Ive serviced it myself. Been wielding spanners on motorcycles now for 47 years since I was 16, so my attitude to warranty is if it breaks, I'll fix it... but it's not likely to. I've other Japanese classics from the 1970s and 1980s, so if I want to go faster, or use a motorway I can use those. To be honest, whatever I'm riding, I don't go much over 60 or 70 so this 350 is fine. I've never yet been out on it and thought I needed more power or speed. You live in a great part of the country... I'm up in north Lincolnshire... I agree on the panniers. Gonna get myself some for next year now. Keep up the good video.. really enjoyed it...Andy.
Cheers for this always nice to get fellow owners input. Got the same bike same colour. Went from a Vulcan VN900 to the 350 and its twice the bike the Kawasaki was. Character and soul in a relaxed easy to maintain fun to ride bike. Mines nearly done a 1000 and i do all my maintenance same as yourself I dont trust dealers to do all the checks as it was the tappets were wrong and the exhaust was tightso I susspect were not even checked just earwigged. Workshop manual is easy to download and got all the info you need I may do a little vid myself just to run through my alterations to give a heads up to those thinking of accessories. Happy riding Lee
Our Royal Enfield Classic 350 have all turned ONE this week! Three of us got them last July, and they're simply a blast, and honestly, therapeutic. At 62, I've had a lot of bikes over the years, but few if any were this fun and enjoyable without pushing me to go faster. Only have about 1300 miles on "Mary", but will be doing lots more over the years...don't plan on selling this one. Keep it up and... Ride Safe 🙏🏼
Haha recognised that road as soon as I started watching. Being a St Austell gent lol Lovely bike mate. Have a interceptor and thinking of changing myself. Love the 350 style. Keep up the good vlogs mate
Nice bike. Will you get seat springs or a functional spring fitted seat? I’m thinking about getting the 350, too, but in the Signals Desert Sand. Thanx from SW Florida 🏝
Hi im getting the exat same bike as you on monday not ridden one i was sold on it after watching many videos and not a bad report, like you ive had many bikes triumph bmw moto guzzi yamaha Suzuki etc in my lifetime and this will be my smallest im now 67 had a accidents on my triumph 955i month ago wrote it off not my fault the bike seems to good to be true any advice from youy experience thank you Dave
I think just take the bike easy it seems to get better as you add the miles. I just love the bike and at 62 I really do not need the speed. I would say its not really a bike for motorways of course you can and I would if needed to. I purchased the bike as most of my riding is on small lanes and back roads. It always draws people in so expect people to come up and talk to you. Enjoy
Thank you for your reply i live in the countryside in Lincolnshire so my riding will be the same im really looking forward to it,so will just be getting through that running in period really 😊thank you
@@peter236uk1Aussie here. I bought my red-chrome Classic 350 "Kellie" a month ago. I always have people commenting about the bike; she is a real attention seeker.
I don't see why people in the UK but a fake phony pretender of a British motorcycle when you can buy the real thing. My BSA C-15 250 singles were low mileage and cheap. Vintage British motorcycles are rebuidable forever. Reliable and dependable transportation. I have had my Triumph Tr-6 with a hard tail and magneto for 40 years. I ride my vintage British motorcycles every day. I have both street and dirt versions. My Triumph TR25W 250 goes down fireroads at 60 mph. My C-15 with a B25 motor in it goes 60 mph 2 up all day. I would not take one for free.
