Royal Enfield Classic 350 Reborn Revisted - Still Marvellous? 

Got rid of a Kawasaki Vulcan VN900 fully tour kitted for a Red & Chrome classic. Actually took Paddington for a test ride . Thats what sold me Soul and character in a modern bike. Totally unique. Reminds me of my 1960s riding . When bikes were bikes not mode infested plastic rockets.

I visited Haywards and bought him today , i px d my b5 500 2016 bullet for him. I will pamper and look after him. He been polished and gently riden home and now snug in his new home . I work at Paddington green police staion as the local beat officer for Paddington , i went to buy a new red and chrome when they said this enfield is famous and his called paddington then showed me the videos i had to have him what a coincidence 😂😂😂❤ what a delightful machine Paddington is❤

I have a 350 following lots of reviews. I did I have a 2018 Bullet not the classic one I just did not like the seat set up. I guess I could have a brought a single seat. I bought Betty a Classic Chrome 350 and love it. It makes me smile every time i ride the bike. Its not fast but for bimbling and exploring love it. Every time I stop people come and chat to me about the bike its what I call a Friendly bike.

Morning Mr TAYM, thanks for the mention. When I first rode Clementine, I thought “what have I done ? Damn this thing is slow” !🤔……but, within an hour, I was in love 😍. Now, nearly a year on, with about 1500 miles on the clock, she is sublime. She still looks gorgeous, even after riding through winter. She is very tactile, especially the raised RE lettering on the tank. She is great for having a relaxed ride, but is a hoot when nipping through the twisties on country lanes, at more spirited speeds. She always gets attention, wherever she is parked up, or at petrol stations. The only reason I would change the rear shocks, is for aesthetics. Shrouded shock’s would be more in keeping with the look, but they work fine, soaking up the bumps on our horrendous roads, without giving any cause for concern. The original seat is like an armchair, so comfortable. All in all, a marvellous bike, without even considering the low price point. Now if only RE would produce a bigger one to replace the 500 Classic…hmmm 🤔😎 I really think you should be the one buying Paddington. If you don’t have garage space, there is always the living room 😊

Good afternoon , I am the Proud new owner of Paddington , yesterday I rode my bullet 500 2016 model upto Hayward’s to look at a red and chrome 350 and possible ordering one. On speaking with the owner and delivery time of new bike , he pointed at Paddington saying that Enfield is famous , and proceeded to tell me the story and he is named Paddington. What a coincidence I have worked at Paddington Green police station for the last 20 odd years as the local beat officer. It was destined I went of the idea of the new red and chrome , I took Paddington out for a spin and fell in Love. I then sealed the deal on a px for my 500 bullet and rode Paddington home through the back roads back to Hertfordshire. Paddington will be pampered ridden gently and treated like he deserves. I intend riding him down at some point to Paddington Green and visit the Paddington bear statue , then also popping for a cup of tea with Mrs Bond the wife of the famous Micheal bond who invited the Paddington bear character as I am friends of the family and introducing her to Paddington the Royal Enfield . I am very lucky to own this wonderful machine and will take care of her. I intend leaving as she is the only change I may make is a lively exhaust system from Hitchcock , however I will leave that to your choice as if I should do this or just leave her as she is . With the permission of the TAYM I may create a RU-vid channel Paddington the Royal Enfield . Good morning TAYM. The missing cone of contention was threatening to spoil the entire video 😞. Thank goodness you found him. Rupert - my Classic 350 has been in for his first service and he's now covered just shy of 500 miles already in just over a month. I've not covered that distance so quickly on a bike in ages which is a testament to everything that's said about these bikes. Like Paddington he's a bit noisier from the tappets recently. They obviously adjusted them at the first service. If they were on the tight side, they're certainty not tight any more. As you know, for financial reasons my T100 had to go as it was getting close to the end of my PCP deal. Yet, I've not felt I've actually downgraded at all really. The opposite is probably true. The T100 was a bit of a garage queen and I probably treated it as too precious. Rupert gets ridden a lot more and seems even more accessible. I've explored many of those little lanes so often passed on bigger bikes. As speed limits come down, speed cameras and petrol prices go up these little bikes become ever more relevant. Marvellous 👍

My heart missed a beat when the cone was missing! it felt like a loss. Everyone should probably have a 350. I think that I would like the Hunter 350. The Classic 350 is a bike that you could be happy with in stock form, without making any changes. I hope that you will be able to ride Paddington again👍👍

Paddington! ❤🐻 It was great to see the three of you together again, Cone, Paddington, and Mr TAYM. Paddington has stolen all of our hearts, I was thinking of him (and Steve McQueen) when I rode the Marsh Grey 350 Classic at the Rally last week. I hope he is adopted by someone that will love him like we do. Lots of riding and pampering... TLC.

In four weeks time, my Classic will be one year old and can honestly say it has been almost flawless. I just love the look of the Chrome Bronze and never tire riding it. One small fly in the ointment, about a month ago I noticed condensation in the speedo, not a major issue and will no doubt get sorted. I went back to dealer yesterday for an update and it seems the changeover to Royal Enfield from MotoGB has not gone well. RE has yet to respond to my warranty claim and the dealer said I am not alone in that respect, they even told me they are struggling to get bikes from them. I hope RE get their act together because it would be a real shame if the brand started to be tarnished by poor after sales support.

Probably exactly what I need, a Paddington bike because evertime I go for a ride I intend to just pootle along but all of a sudden the madness kicks in and it's throttle on and if another bike turns up, well. Had this problem with the boat as well another yacht appears and its get every bit of canvas up. Common problem for sail boats tho.Had hoped to grow out of this nonsense but I'm getting on a bit and it hasn't happened yet haha. Wonder if others have this problem Honda steptru maybe. Not sure how I missed this video. I still have my classic 350. It’s got close to 3000 miles on it currently. I have the Meteor too. No problems whatsoever except a sticky speedo on the classic that gets annoying at times. I’ll probably end up getting it replaced. Anyway loving your video rides which the best. Stay awesome!

Really enjoy your marvellous videos TAYM, and I remember commuting to work in Cambridge many years ago down that bumpy road, it hasn't changed. I'm now definitely planning a test ride of the Classic 350, even though I didn't know I wanted one 😊 I do like the looks of the military green version.

What a nice gentle review! As you know, I have two 350 classic reborn's and the classic chrome and black 500. The 500 and the 350.s are very similar yet completely different! (if that make's any sense!) One will never be the other. It's hard to put into words. Both are very charming in their own rights and both are excellent motorcycles. A bit like kittens from from different litters. They can look similar but have very different personalities. I'm working away in the south of England and will be riding the Halcyon green I have with me, home at weekends, so round trips of 260 miles there and back are the order of the day. It's Baking hot down 'sarf' at the moment, just perfect for Motorcycling! All the best Mr and Mrs TAYM ,together. VB ps I am glad Mr King cone was found ok!

Hi Mr TAYM. I was going to get a Classic 350 or a Hunter but after watching videos from yourself and Bullet Wanderer I'm thinking of going for a Bullet 500 instead. I have the opportunity to get a 2020 Bullet 500 with just 160 miles on the clock and I think I'd be a fool to let it go. Taking it for a test ride this week. Fine machine. The brown pops when in the sun. Re the silencer, you could attach the cone backwards with a bungee? Then you would have a reverse cone. . Mega 😂

Good morning. No argument from me, I love my Classic 350!! I've only had the speedo problem once but I don't care. Don't need it anyway, with that engine you know when to shift and where I live there's no worries about road speed anyway 😂. Riding it definitely is a calming experience, puts you in a euphoric state of mind. Personally, although it's none of my business, I'd dump that sport bike and buy Paddington! I'd like your opinion if you don't mind on what years Classic 500 you'd recommend. I've been thinking hard about getting one and I don't think RE is going to reissue it in a modern version. Well TAYM only one thing to be done since you have named him he must become yours 😊I'd call Paddington maybe bronze in colour very nice. How many bikes today have proper chrome downpipes and silencers TAYM not so many ,what you need to do if he is not to be yours is hide him around the back under a tarp 😉.👌👍

Morning TAYM I it's safe to say that I think you're very smitten with Young Paddington and you've got quite a relationship built up with him. I think the only option is that you are going to have to find a Paddington shaped space in your garage for him.....I mean you can't just cast a young Paddington out into the world he could end up with anyone.

Hello "Schaubi" now has 6230 happy miles and a year 😀 what to Say? now it vibrates a little more but that contribut es to its charm 😀 no mechanical problems encountered during this period 😁 my odometer once made me the joke of 140 km per hour,but thanks to the community I know it's not a problem 😀i also had one or two gear lock issues but I was so relaxed on the bike that I think it was me who broke down the gestures wrong 😳 I ride with it summer and winter and I have no rust for now but I know it will come and it's normal since she sleeps outside 😢I will just add that on Sunday I rode 248 miles of😀😀😀 and that this summer I'm going on vacation with 😁 I love my Classic and so far she loves me😀😀😀.My only regret is that there aren't many like her here and that sometimes I feel very lonely.😉😁✌️🇨🇵

I must not watch this.. I must not watch this.. .. Damn it, it's too late.. Mine is gone and I miss it, but it was calculated decision on my side for my style and way or riding.. The bike is superb otherwise. Mr. Cone has been abducted !
