Well done, Sir! You've cast some real light onto a fairly dark period of Anglo-Indian Enfield history. You just earned a new subscriber, and I'm looking forward to checking out your other videos. Greetings from the USA, where Bullets are actually quite rare. Most people here, even most avid motorcyclists, have never even heard of "Royal Enfield", and believe my 2005 Bullet 500ES "Military" in that "Battle Green" you cannot legally own in India (under your Transport Laws that color is reserved for your military and police) might be from the '40s or something.
Howdy Sir..Nice to hear from someone in states. You are probably the first to post a comment in the channel from there. There are some fellows from Italy and France unsurprisingly but they are all somehow connected to India. Theres a museum in California side which features some old models and my close friend is involved with it.I will get the exact details from him.And would love to know more about your bullet.... Regards
Thanks Anand for that splendid and noteworthy facts every proud G2 owner should know about.I also am infact a G2 owner. And thanks for opening my eyes as I was about to get rid of my bullet.I again fell in love with my 62 after watching your video.Looking forward for your more such information.Godspeed Anand.
All bullets ate awesome specially the old ones! The first Time I saw a HR Bullet was in a tv show than I started researching about this bike and I fell in love with this time machine.
@@SonofagunG2 can't wait to get mine! I live in England the problem I have now is lack of space. This machines arrived in Brazil about 3 years ago and people are loving it. Many Brazilian RU-vidrs are traveling to India to show de history of Royal Enfield and mostly the history of Bullet. Nice channel I'll keep waiting. Thank you very much!
Great content and analysis by you sir , hats off to your knowledge and your will to help others with their queries is just great ... I'm very fasinated about the G2..I think it's just me whose sad to see such machines being modified way up north neglecting originality and authenticity .. it's my dream to own one of these machines and will surely get my hands on a G2 machine in future .
I've 73 model last year did engine overhauled, what a ride on that, unfortunately I can't take here in Europe but when I go India I always ride my bike. Side stand was in front behind clutch, but always problem with original full stand because it was very simple on tubes. It needs more power in your legs to stand a bike. I replaced both of stands. Battery and coil was 6 volt, replaced also with 12 volt.2 switches to start up one is normal near tank and second one is in the luggage department. Front brakes problems because of shocker cuts, I everyday enjoyed because of thump sound, it was pain but if you ride a bike like that it forgets every problems. I loved it . I was 12 year old when I took my bike without permission. My neighbors always said about that to my father please don't give a bike he is very young to ride a bullet. My father laughs and sometimes he told me oh boy don't touch it, its too heavy for you.
Haha...everyone has a special story to say when it comes to our bullet. You got it spot on about the ride. Its a big stress buster.I still find reasons to have a spin..
Just listening to the sound of this magnificent piece of artwork is a purely ecstatic experience in itself! I just love this G2 model! The way, it's built, it's overall design and everything else about it! This bike was made to be immortal!! I feel about it this way, at least!!..
@@majmanojkumar2033 I havent regular used a magdyno model yet but its in general a tough mechanism to maintain for someone who doesnt have technical knowledge.
How sweet your explanation and details i liked it well.. this video has been might be watch list for serious g2 lovers .. You are there for us.. thank you @sonofgun
Yes, can't beat a classic, my brother has one and I love it a lot! Also..... we are currently restoring a G2 U frame heavy crank Bullet which is for sale. You could contact me if you'd like to buy it, for now its overhauled for painting
@@SonofagunG2 Yes.... you can contact my father on 9923127624. You can contact him tomorrow. For now the bike has been overhauled for paint job and engine work, it was registered in the year 1961. Edit: you can contact me on Instagram, my username is khalifa.aarif
Nice work my friend,am a RE enthusiastic but unfortunately I don't have any ,now. But I always keep in heart to have one G2 original of my own,but I don't know when. I will wait for the time, see you n thanks
Wha...Adi'poli !! ......Very Simple & Humble presentation I signed in and hit the like..... I hav a Bullet, 1981 model Ex-Military that my father brought from Avadi military camp near Chennai for around 22k those days...... ha ha I found it slightly heavier than other old bullets Good Luck Buddy !!
Impeccable.Great work anand.so comprehensive .it elevates the value of these bikes.this video outsmarts and outwits any other video on youtube.you are too good.these enhances the confidence of new collectors.truely best and it will last forever🥳🥳🤩😍
I have 82 model & 74 (B1) , I am not sure if it has the G2 crank but it's somewhat same as G2 & the frequency of changing gear is very less which means it's able to go @ 20 kmph on its top gear without any difficulties, climbing hill easily on top gear, furthermore speed riding is also possible (as people believe that the bullets are made only for slow riding).
Nice explanation.... Great video! By the way I would be delighted if you could throw some light on the original high lift brass rockers, 40 teeth brass cam wheels and brass bushes in gearbox which came with the early G2 bullets.
Thank you so much sir.Would definitely consider what you had suggested. The intention is to compile A to Z information about G2 including spares and Engine components in the most authentic way possible. Once again thanks for your valuable support..
Good work brother......Fabulous presentation and my heart said you are genuine. Very few videos you find them genuine and talking the facts and you are one of them.....I became your fan and I wish you all the very good luck for coming videos.
Bro please make a video on how the UCE midels Electra Classic and Standard differ although they have same engine.I am not talking about cosmetics but about the riding experience. Please bro
Bro can you make a video on how to modify new standard 350 Bullet to look alike as older one? It is similar as older one but not as same as the older standard Bullet. Can you make a video on what needs to be changed to look like the older like model If possible?
How tall are you mate? Love your videos btw....i have a 2000 model bullet... planning to restore it .... What do you think about the 2000 model? Can it be considered vintage? 😅😅
Mere aur tumhare khayal aur pasand ek jaise hi hain main bhi old, vintage, retro, legendary, uniquely, premium bikes and cars ko pasand karta hoon, inki baat batata hoon, rakhta hoon, originality ki values ko manta hoon old choice rakhta hoon log samajhte hi nahi hain bolte hain ki kya purane jamaane ki baat karte ho but I like old because history kept alive
Very useful vedio bro, l learned a lot about g2,tks anand bro,but my suggestion is that create a playlist for ur channel, coz it is very difficult to search a particular vedio in u r channel
Theres a correction regarding the last three letters of G2 and EI serials being same.Thats not true for all. This practice began in 62 and those before doesnt necessarily have the numbers same. Sorry for the wrong information
I am having a Bullet G2 which has G2 serial number on chasis but not on the Engine the Crank case is having a 6 digit number only, and there is no sign of tampering, please suggest if it is possible in G2 Models around 1962-63
Hi Anand , thanks for the wonderful details of g2, last five years I am using a g2 1966model, which I brought from North India for 1.8 lac,i don't know it was too much or not that time, but according to my interest it was overhaul there itself, until today my bike never gaves me any headaches other than some minor issues which I rectify myself, now I am plan to restore it and want to have a ladak trip with my g2.,can you able to help me to find few spare parts or Suggest any places where I can get. Regards Hari
Splendid and superb work brother. Can you help with some good restoration workshop I have my father's RE 1971 and wants to get restored. It is all original except silencer. I am in delhi and no authentixlc restoration craftsmanship is here.
@@SonofagunG2 just 1 more question how would you suggest to manage and get 8 volt battery. Which is very rare to get now and if I get this to 12 volt battery then I need to get the magnet and electrifier changed. Any option on battery if you can suggest so I need not change same.
Depends entirely on originality.I have bought 63 model for 1.2 lakhs and also for 1.6 lakhs.. Can get a better idea with more specifics.. Thanks for the support bro
Sure bro...It was shot on a mobile phone so it has its limitations..If not for the filters it would have looked even worse. But thats my personal opinion. Also some clippings were not shot by me and are quite shaky like the 56 model clip and 59. Will definitely improve on the visuals in the next Thanks so much for the comment
Sir at what price one should buy a second hand 2004 model standard bullet, if the condition and paint work is ok, and can i buy other states bullet? And will it be a difficult job toh have the registration work done if i belong to different state?.
2004 is light crank version which is not difficult to find.I have seen many of those available for prices nearing 80k in Tamil nadu. But we really cant say for sure whats the right price.Ask the buyer for his price and see if you can agree to it.If you can send me the photographs I can definitely give a better option
@@SonofagunG2 sir my one last question, in which year bullet made its LAST haviest CRANK cast iron bullet and does haviest crank helps in larger thump or more dug dug sound of bullet?
Thanks bro..personally i dont have any G2 at the moment. But had about 5 in my possession. Now I just have my 71.The 59 is my friends..as hes abroad its with me
Hi brother ..I'm the follower who follows u from beginning..I'm interested in vintage bullets like g2 and b1..but as I'm a student in my budget..I recently bought the yamaha Rx 100 1989 Japanese model ..after some time I will also plan to buy a g2 r b1 ...but still the doubt is "g2 bullet has low thumping when compared to b1 1973 bullet...I missed that thumping sound in this g2..can u explain me bro
@@SonofagunG2 bro you tell that in some comment...2006 to 2010 bullets have heavy crank sound.so when compared to that what's the point to buy a b1 1970 s model bro ...confused ...
@@TarunKumar-cs4nl Both have higher crank weight but are not entirely the same. The old ones have a smoother gear shift, lesser overall vibration and impeccable look. Then there is the feel of owning a vintage bullet which cannot be underrated.I will make a detailed video of the 2005-09 model and we will all get a better idea
