You are the only person to reveal the true mileage of the Triumph speed 400, which is around 25km/l. It's the exact mileage that I too am getting more or less on my speed 400. Every other reviewers says that the triumph returns more than 30km/l, which is false claim. It also has the best low and mid range torque. I can go over speed breakers in 3rd gear and you can overtake easily in 5th gear at 40kmph. And that's the reason why it feels a bit fuzzy at top speeds and lacks the top speed of the Duke 390 gen 3, even though they both share the same engine. The Triumph is tuned for low end fun and easy riding without having to shift the gear frequently.
Bro My speed gives me 27 on the lowest and about 31 is my highest it depends on your riding style and no the duke and speed don't share the same engine its a completely a different one if you had ridden it you would know the difference The most easy to spot difference is the chain which is on the right side on speed and left on the Duke you can't exactly do it with the same engine.
In city like Bangalore almost 20 to 26 kmpl depend on traffic. In less crowded highway 33 kmpl in 100 to 125 speed , here there will touch 140 sometimes and 35 if 80km/h
Hey dudes, no ads for harley. Thats a different company. They create it and we go and buy it. In other words dont expect anything from harley to increase market. Plus i am using it. 10k kms done. Great ride feel. Thats the win part.
Great job guys. It’s visible that a lot of hard work has got into creating this video. I am not a regular person to comment on videos but really pulled by the information and details provided by you guys. Well done. I actually shortlisted these 3 bikes and feels like I found a perfect one to compare 🎉Cheers and keep it up
Triumph Speed 400 is the most complete bike & the best all-rounder!.. It is very hard to match a Triumph no matter what price point or segment for that matter Globally!!.. They are the masters in the business 🤷
@@chiragjaggi4215 bro new company set up hone me thoda time toh lega Triumph is UK BRAND All over world famous they known there Top notch quality and network
I'm sorry to say this but no self-respecting individual will call that bike a Harley. In fact HD are on fire right now for making this bike among other things.
@@naveengaur1204why should they even make one ? Their splendor is most selling bike on market they target entry level guys usually .. if you call xpulse a bad or not a decent bike then you are a noob bro.. no offense
Wonderful comparo and breathtaking bg. Will pick mavrick for it's : linear power delivery(*personal taste) , exhaust note, relax riding posture, amazing tractilibily(can be deal breaker for me), very good suspension setup for broken and unpaved roads, very good mileage, diavel looks 😅, big bike appeal, no heating, least techy nd most simple machine, most affordable 440, comfortable touring, offroading capability(suspension - gc) , very good headlight, and it's HERO so no tensions. It's has the least aspirational value but for a sensible buyer it's the best choice.
Why are you afraid of calling spade a spade? The Guerrilla suspension is hard unlike H450. You are just beating around the bush "suspension is here and there"😂
Took a test ride of Guerilla last weekend. The bike goes like crazy in 2 to 5th gear, but the overall feeling you get is not very wholesome - IMO. And I also found the suspension setup to be below average. I willingly took the bike in the broken patch of the road and the feeling was very jittery. So, I think the suspension is the weakest link in the bike.
Come on mannn.. you're complaining about no chrome in the Harley? None of the three have it. Chrome is seriously subjective.. not all of us need it.. even new models of RE twin GTs came with no chrome..
The lack of availability of chrome on the other two bikes matters less than on a Harley cruiser. And sure, Harley does want to shed it's old mindset and explore new genres but the X440 is still a very traditional bike.
Hello Sir Need your advice.. Yesterday I ride Versys 650 Benelli Trk 502 and Interceptor 650.. All three bikes are phenomenal.. My purpose is to have a bike which can take me simply anywhere .. Is it really needed to pay 9L when same thing can be achieved in 3.5L.. Should I wait for upcoming Bear 650 for more better comfortable bike then interceptor or should go with Trk 502.. Versys is extremely good but seems over budget.. Weight and hight of all three are fine to me
I wish you could add Husky Svartpilen 401 in this comparison. Having second thoughts today after test riding Guerilla.. same issues, and paint schemes are a sore point. 401 was a pleasant surprise but wish to have second opinion.
Fit and finish , mainly performance is Triumph 400, others or just for giving a rival to this bike , speed 400 is a complete package at this price, no other brand can provide such experience in this pricing , I would say RE has good lineup 650 but in 400 segment they need to work more .
Boss, harley gives 8 years warranty for all its components including engine , gearbox, clutch, chains, brakes etc If any fault or malfunction a direct replacement free of cost. Can any other bike manufacturer match that ? None of the vloggers talk about warranty unfortunately ,, that is what proves or shows the quality of the bike.
Because most Harleys are ridden well within the limits of their performance envelope, so hardly any wear and tear is there. Have you seen any 5 year old Harley with 50000 kms on odo? 20000 kms maybe, at best.
@@ackodriveIt has same 650 cc Short Stroke Rotax engine which used to come in BMW Funduro 650 once upon a time, reworked though. Should be interesting to watch what happens to it here in India. Non availablity of tubeless will be a big, big downer.
Nice video! You guys should get a third journalist and do a review where you’re doing everyday stuff together and each one tells the practical difficulties you faced living with a bike like this. Would make for a great video 😅
Sir one question, could you pls tell if the coolent reservoir caged belw engine if safe if we are doing off reading..as the bash plate has holes in it and twigs might puncture the reservoir..?
I don’t know its only me, Whats point of getting a 400CC bike with 40BHP if it can’t curse over 120kmh with smoothly decent mileage. A 250 can also curse around 100 and with decent mileage. I think those extra can be only utilised on low speed acceleration. I have a 250 want to upgrade it but unable to find something worthy
To all the lads who have doubts for GRR 450...just take a test ride and you will know its worth buying it ... I loved it so far in both traffic and highway rides... It pulls like a rocket 🔥
I have rodden in city, you just go in 2nd gear and you have all the power you need in traffic just to zip. Ao what elsw you want in traffic. Don't say how heavy I m short 5.4 and lught guy. No issues with Grr 450 . Petrol avg is kust stopping I sont know jow much but it must be definitely less than 30.
Man, you are the oposite of 90% of other reviewers and speed 400 groups I'm on... Everyone says speed 400 fuelling at low speeds is jerky and Guerrilla is very smooth! To be fair I've learned not to trust indian reviews on Indian brands... You are too biased to the wrong side! You should be more neutral and not think that everything that comes from a foreign brand is better!... By the way, I'm portuguese and I just look at this from afar...
Dont compare speed with touring bikes. Bullet and x440 are long stroke torquey thumbys. The buyers are different. I personally cannot think of speed/duke kind of bikes. I go for torquey character ones.
@@ackodrive I'd like to differ on this. Mavrick because of its tank design, feels a little commuter-ish - a chunkier one perhaps. But the HD makes you feel like you're riding something more substantial.
🌟Harley Try To Looks Like American Heavy Weight Wrestler, Triumph Looks Like Gymnastics Athletic.........RE Looks & Feels Like Proper Indian Pehelwan ❤
I knew from the begining that Jehan would pick Royal enfield guerilla 450 as he is born a RE fan😄. I still remember once he picked classic 350 as winner over honda higness in a comparison video just because RE has soul and honda higness has not😄. Anyway, I would pick speed 400
Of the two, Jehan would pick the Guerrilla because he already has a KTM 390 Duke for fun times and it is a far more enjoyable bike than the Speed. The Guerrilla just for the fact that he can go flat tracking with minimal changes. And there's no disputing why the Classic is a far superior riding experience than the CB350, a Honda that doesn't at all feel like a Honda.
@ackodrive what if we add honda cb350rs to the conparo? Does it keeps up with these? There seems a lot of people interested in that as well but most of the comparisons, it is not included.
Honda CB 350 twins are the most hated bikes among reviewers I guess..Even Shumi of Motorinc doesnt bring up CB 350 if a comparo is made among the bikes of that class.I feel Honda doesnt care about these reviewers and pay them.Otherwise I dont find a reason for avoiding such a great product.
To be honest, the CB350s feel like a big let down, especially for a juggernaut like Honda. It doesn't feel exciting nor does it feel calming. And considering its high asking price, it doesn't feel worth the moolah.
Comfort in Harley, Handel position wider and best in Harley, engine performance chill and powerful in Harley, suspension better in Harley, sound exhaust better in Harle, Chill relex wibes are there in Harley, Breaking Soft and are in chill mode in Harley .......But you guys are still trying hard to say something nice about Gaurilla and Triumph 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ...Harley ❤
WOW, those are great prices. Are there a lot of taxes added on or are the bikes actually sold out the door for those prices? These bikes cost way more abroad.
Of the three, the Speed definitely is the more fun everyday bike. In general, you could take a look at the 390 Duke, RS457,XPulse Rally for fun commutes
The guerilla looks sooo good. But the speed is the logical choice. I guess I will leave my home for the Triumph showroom and somehow slip and fall and land in the Royal Enfield showroom.
I own a speed 400 and it’s giving a mileage of 23 in city (I haven’t ridden it much on the highway yet, so can’t say about highway mileage). First service of the bike has been done. Anyone else having the same experience?
19kmpl wtf, im about to buy this one but now I'm considering hareley, scrambler 400x or just buy used himalayan bs6 and save some money. Pls help me as this will be my first bike and I'm super confused for last month which to buy
if you want the RE,i would suggest you wait for 6 months to a year...new model bikes always come with teething issues with their 1st few production lots...if you can't wait,Triumph may be a better option
Just curious, bro. Why are you considering a 400cc motorcycle as your first? I honestly think everyone should start lower. Explore yours and the motorcycle's capability and then upgrade to this class in a few years' time. 250cc class motorcycles are much more capable than the picture we might have created in our heads just because 400cc class is now more accessible. I upgraded to an X440 after riding a 220cc for many many years. And I still enjoy both. 😀 Just my thoughts. I'm hoping this will turn into an interesting conversation.
@@IshaanAFK i personally dont own a bike but doesnt mean i ride 150-411 bikes almost every day, i used my clg friend bikes, now roomate bikes like I'm a rider I'm the one who always rides, so i know how to handle the power bro, even i rode z900 for like couple months. But now I have enough money to buy one for myself and thats why confusion
guys today only i test ridden speed scrambler and guerrilla and guess what i like the scrambler 400x coz-1. no snappy acceleration or braking unsettling like speed guerilla is feeling more like a long cruiser type bike with a snappy performance however much more planted than speed , ultimately the overall comfort fot finsh etc and linear acceleration and braking of scrambler 400made me feel great but it is 1.25 lakh costlier than hunter so will look for goldstar now😂
The other day I came across a video of some so called reviewer saying "aap k Bhai ne Guerrilla le li"....& Now with spy shots of the Bear 650 going around on the web...I really wonder on these funny nomenclature of models the the companies come out with !!
Triumph is probably a better bike for finish but I'd buy the RE. Reason? Triumph generally over price given there manufacturing base and the 400 is priced as a loss leader. I'd buy a Triumph when all their bikes are properly priced.
RE looks more like a flat tracker you than a roadster. Speed has the looks, beefy tank and styling. RE has its own elements but the tank design is controversial.
Speed400 is painful at any constant speed 50km/h and slower. The fueling is all over the place and it stalls on idle or fights with you with hesitations. Triumph has gone out of their way to make it an uncomfortable ride around town.
@@ackodrive And by the time you're utilising all that 40 BHP power, you're so up in the rev band that the motorcycle itself will ask you to release the throttle. It's the way power is delivered that defines the character of a motorcycle. We shouldn't emphasize so much on spec sheet readouts.
@@ackodrive This is apples and oranges comparison! HD is direct competition to RE Classic and Bullet, Honda CB350, Benelli 350 etc which are retro standard bikes with the typical long stroke lightly strung easygoing engines. So such engines typically top out at around 7-8k RPMs. Guerilla Speed Duke MT03 on the other hand are modern retro naked "sports" bikes with power at the top end and a high strung natured engine characteristics. Such engines typically go upto 10k RPMs. Putting HD in this comparison is just stupid IMHO
@@Sandy_12_7 while riding or rather doing trips I take break in every 200 kms so it is fine with 11 ltr capacity. I am used to with gt650 and interceptor 650 and street 750 tank capacity. So until and unless you are coming from a sub 150cc Category tank capacity shouldn't bother you. I had a forged 22ltr tank for my one of the classic 500.... well it didn't make much difference... so take a long test ride before you decide into anything.... yeah it will be different if you have already bought a x440 or truimph 400
RE is just that anglo kid born in the UK, came to India to earn a fortune during the Pre-Independence era and decided to stay 😂😂. So technically even RE is British
RE is Indian as owner is Indian and company head quarter registered in India. All recent models are products of current company innovation not legacy British tech.
Triumph Speed 400 is a tight slap across the face of all the Indian brands who thought that making a collaboration with a big name brand and rehashing scrap with a Name tag will be enough for us indians Bajaj is making them have a run for their money 😂
Wrong. Every manufacturer stepped up their game during the same time and some long before them. For example only Enfield had the guts to make big twin cylinder bikes in India.
Are you personal haters of Harley ? Cause u undermined the bike and couldn’t even manage to get the best colour / variant unlike the guerrilla or triumph This is definitely a biased and Harley haters video
@@AmanGupta-xv9je i did. Problem is, it was so boring . It's just so linear rides like a High power family scooters .It looks so small too . Didn't get to ride a harley yet . R.e apart from a slightly heavy clutch it feels like a proper bike .
