Alex M okay do fans wanted Roman I don't think so when 52k+ people are booing you also who was that fan who wanted Roman to eliminate undertaker and y2j??
RobJuanDeLaNooch no it doesn't 😂 what numbers did HBK enter? Ok look at that compared to Cena, Batista, HHH and orton HBK came at no1 non of these others did
That's what he said in the pipebomb. Punk is 100% correct when he says that Vince McMahon is a millionaire who should be a billionaire. Triple H taking over will be what is best for business because he understands what the fans want.
Whiterun Guard people hating on roman cause he get "pushed down our throats" when its actually the creative team doing it roman is doing his job wat he is asked to yet people hate on him like he is responsible for what creative team does
WWE ARE MAD! THEY ARE OBSESSED WITH THAT BORING GUY! THE BIG GUY! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROMAN! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
keithdube12 if you got the network just for the rumble then you would of got it for free so stop whining. It was a good PPV Cena came AJ was amazing. There wasn't a bad match on the main show.
Stop being such a crybaby, you got it for free if you got it just for the Royal Rumble. Also, IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST RUMBLE MATCHES IN ALL I HAVE SEEN. I have seen 1993, 1997, 1998, 2015, 2016, 2017 on WWE Network, 2007 and 2009 on RU-vid, and 2012, 2013, 2O14 on PPV
BoomBamBloomo Let's go not crazy here. The PPV itself was pretty good, the Rumble stumbled near the end though. The last ten minutes were a huge letdown
Danny M I know it's like Cena getting shoved down our throats for how many years and like charlotte is now on raw her matches are predictable at this point she always wins her matches in ever ppv and I'm getting sick of her.
Tye Dillinger big moment? He's great, but you're idiotic. You think that's enough? Don't be fucking stupid, Joe has been waiting almost a month and the RR was the perfect time to introduce him, Or a Finn Balor-Undertaker stare down, if you think Roman coming in at 30 is better than those two or shouldn't have been in the rumble, you're fucking braindead.
It was long, no doubt. Great storytelling by both men. But MOTN......nah. Owens/Reigns was better imo. The two glaring problems with Cena/Styles was the slow pace nearly most of the first half and the constant finisher repeats. Atleast at SS, it had been at a constant pace of finishers in the climax. Owens/Reigns had a good pace, utilized No DQ rules well, and a possible storyline buildup of Reigns/Braun before Mania. Everyone knew Owens is again gonna get help. Braun's interference hardly took anything away.
I understand that and kinda feel with you but his in ring work is pretty decent. also I can just hope it's a setup for a family feud with a triple threat between Orton, Bray and Harper
Ok Vince can not be so fucking blind to actually believe that Undertaker vs Reigns would be a good idea. Cuz that would effectively kill any chance Roman had of being accepted by the fans. People are gonna boo the shit out of him if that match happens.
Actually it was tonight what killed Roman from being accepted by the fans. Taking the number 30 spot when it could've well be another superstar, eliminating the Undertaker which was a huge fan favorite to win the match, and being the runner up once again making him pushed down our throats. Turning heel won't even help him anymore

***** Because turning him heel won't stop him for being pushed to freaking Mountain Everest. You can never take the booking seriously. Not only it's doubtful he'll turn heel, but he'll still be pushed. The fact that he hasn't won his 4th reign ever since Money in the Bank, which was like eight months ago is a good thing, and it's better to be in the main event that win the title, but let's hope he doesn't get near the title until 2018 - for me, at least.
My opinion about the whole PPV: 1. Charlotte vs Bayley was a great Kick Off for those who don't watch the Pre Show. Both showed what they are capable of and the End was ok. Charlotte's PPV-Streak should end at Mania. 2. Owens vs Reigns was allright. Jericho managing to help Owens with a brass knuckle both competitors really damaged each other. The interference from Braun Strowman was fine. I hope they let them feud for the US Title and Jericho and Owens for the Universial Title at Mania. 3. Neville vs Swann was average. It was slower than i expected and could have ended 5 min. earlier. 4. Styles vs Cena was the match of the night. It was a masterpiece but not as good as their SummerSlam match. Having Cena win his 16th title is great but i hope he drops it to Wyatt so Cena can face Undertaker at Mania. 5. The Royal Rumble was disappointing. It could have been the greatest Rumble ever. It was a good start with Cass and Jericho then got really great with Strowman, Zayn, Ambrose and Corbin slowed down after Strowman was eliminated. It got great again with Lesnar, Goldberg and Undertaker entering and eliminating people. Then came Number 30. Who Could it be, Joe, Balor, Rollins or maybe Angle? No it was Roman F***ing Reigns, who eliminated Taker, Jericho and Wyatt and looked like the match prior didn't matter. There was no surprise apart for Dillinger. Spots for surprises were taken by Reigns, Crews, Ellsworth, Kalisto. At least we got surprised with the winner, which proved that this year's Rumble was the most unpredictable for years. Let's all pray we wont get Taker vs Reigns at Mania.
the cena vs styles match was average (not cenas fault or styles), the submissions ruined the flow and the predictable kick-outs even the top rope aa was easy to predict that he would kick-out. Too many un-necessary kick-outs ruined the match for me like it did at summer-slam. I didn't reacted at all besides an eye roll to the match.
Go Go Hopper Tabby maybe unpopular but its my opinion. the match was average (not cenas fault or styles), the submissions ruined the flow and the predictable kick-outs even the top rope aa was easy to predict that he would kick-out. Words cannot describe how pissed off i am, Only 1 surprise entrant. Goldberg, brock, and undertaker were in the match but none of them lasted over 5 minutes. ROMAN FUCKING REIGNS ENTERED AT NUMBER FUCKING 30 CAUSING ME TO SHAKE WITH RAGE, ELIMINATED THE FUCKING UNDERTAKER, BRAY WYATT, AND CHRIS JERICHO,AND MADE IT TO THE FINAL TWO , randy orton wins meaning we are gonna get john cena vs rany orton in the main event of what could have been an amazing wrestlemania 33. I don't know how the fuck wwe could have possibly screwed this up so badly. It was soooooooo easy to have had this be a good rumble, i was really, really excited for this rumble. At this point i'm wondering if vince straight up hate the fans, the rumble, or just has some weird fetish for horrible rumbles but this was painfuly, unforgivably awful. I have since deleted the wwe network and will not be tuning into wwe for a long long time.
No ignoring the rest of the show. Good spots, sure, but reigns taking brass knucks to the face and no selling it? just to come back #30? or the really good cena/AJ match being good until it just became a "finisher spot-fest"? No surprise entrants in the rumble, horrible positioning in the entrant slots. Might as well have just said 'just let all teams and feuds come out together', not to mention 2 minutes in between my ass! other than all that, sure, it was ok.
KelchanFerret Most of the PPV wasn't even that good. The no DQ match with reigns vs Owens was meh at best. Styles vs cena was great though. Then, the rumble was bad.
I can literally imagine the scene inside Vince's office when they were booking the Rumble. HHH is going through the specifics- some comedy with Enzo/Cass/Ellseworth check, strong sweaty men beating & eliminating small men check, putting Goldberg & Taker over- check, Cesaro/shamus feud -check, put Lesnar over but repeat survivor series for Mania feud with Goldberg -check, Luke Harper face turn & feud with wyatts - check, make big show look like an idiot- check. Vince: what's left? HHH: umm a surprise entrant & a winner Vince: surprise entrant? Why do we need that? HHH : people want that ! Vince : really? Like who? HHH: like sampajoe, or Finn or Kurt Vince: what? Are you out of your mind? They don't need those. I know who should be at 30- roman reigns! HHH: but the crowd would hate that Vince: of course not they love roman. We will make him over by eliminating taker through him. People gonna love it! HHH: who wins then? Vince: umm lets do randy then. We can feud him with bray then. HHH : why not make bray win? Orton has already won the rumble. He doesn't need another. Also people want bray to win Vince oh cmon hunter, people don't know what they want! It's gonna be Orton, no questions HHH : okay
Tushar Prashar I suggested that only coz it seems Vince wants bray vs Orton at mania & I would rather had bray win the rumble for it instead of giving a 2nd RR win to Orton. If they go ahead vs Cena vs Orton at mania that is even worse. Who wants to see that again? My own suggestion was that it should be Cena vs Taker at Mania. Now that could be with Taker winning the rumble or taker costing Cena the belt at elimination chamber or taker simply showing up on Tuesday on SD & Demanding a match with Cena at Mania- he is the undertaker, he can do that . Those would make sense & not look made up story lines. I can't think of wanting to watch Cena vs Orton & reigns vs Taker at mania. Ugh
At any case, Dillinger it's not a great surprise. He did'nt have any posibility of winning, he's a middle carder and there were some other wrestlers that could have been a better "surprise".
+Yves Heinrich No Samoa Joe, Reigns, and no real surprise entrants really they wasted a chance to build a star in this Rumble might as well let Sami Zayn win this year instead of possibly letting him win next year
Darion Hall I was hoping for Dean Ambrose because Seth Rollins wasn't in the actual PPV at all, and if Rollins is going to win next year's Royal Rumble that means every Shield member has won the Royal Rumble matches, and maybe even at WrestleMania - it's a good perspective. Other than that, I honestly think Zayn should've won the match!
Goldberg should of been in there longer, he was actually really fun, plus Lesnar was his usual dominate self that makes things interesting and Taker of course deserved to be eliminated by someone more on his level.
It was a pretty good Rumble match the best in years, super stacked there was a shit ton of talent. You don't need surprise entrants when both rosters are as deep as they are. I did think that Finn would be 30 and we would see Taker and Finn face off. However I did like what I saw from Roman. When he eliminated Taker and told him "this is my yard" I felt the heel turn coming and then Taker said "this ain't over" it's a good showdown. Wrestlemania will be fucking STACKED THIS YEAR. Bray vs. Orton Rollins vs. HHH Daniel Bryan vs. Miz Roman vs. Taker Brock vs. Goldberg Owens vs. Jericho Ambrose vs. Ziggler vs. Corbin vs. Crews vs. Harper vs. Kalisto (IC Ladder match) Charlotte vs. Bayley vs. Sasha vs. Nia Mickie vs. Alexa vs. Becky The Club vs. American Alpha??? Neville vs. anyone from the division Andre the Giant Battle Royal(Strowman or Sami wins) Tell me that's not an amazing card
No Aj styles or Cena or Balor. It's a shit card. Boreman vs taker would be a career suicide lol. If bryan has one more match in him, I'd rather see him against Styles.
The Answer Aj doesn't really have any built in WM stories so he is most likely going to face Angle one more time, or he could do a Raw vs. Smackdown type match since they love those
Franco Bradshaw That's not what he said. He said it is going to stay the same. "I would like to think" If your going to quote, quote the entire sentence
The PPV was good, and it had great matches... then there was the Rumble itself. I wouldn't say it was bad, just really weird. Roman entering #30 was a terrible idea, it should have been Samoa Joe or even Finn Balor if he's healed yet. As for Randy winning, I was totally shocked, I'll admit. I do view it as positive, however, because Cena will probably drop the belt to Wyatt in the Chamber and Wyatt will have his first run with the WWE Title. Plus, Rowan's returning soon and he's been airing all those creepy vignettes hinting at Sister Abigail, and Harper's finally split, so the Wyatts are basically gonna be main-eventing SmackDown the next couple months and I'm really excited for that.
Unless joe was gonna win I think its good to keep him out. Give him his own time to make an impact. He would have just been a side story. Wwe had more than enough in this rumble. Whether they used it well can be debated.
Kenny also said he wouldn't be joining Bullet Club when he went to NJPW. He and The Young Bucks like to fake people out. Before Cody joined BC they kept saying Feed Me More referencing Ryback joining. I never take what they say at face value because they like to surprise people.
Yeah, but Harrington as told to tell everyone Jon Snow was dead by his bosses. No one told Omega to announce that he'd re-signed with NJPW. Oh, and Omega did make his appearance in Chili yesterday.
PickYourPoison Hell no. The majority of the WWE Universe are fickle idiots who really actually don't know shit about the business. "Better" and "fantasy booking" are not the same thing.
Brandon White Overall I thought it was a great show. I was referring to the ending and how they could have given someone new a good push. I'm trying to be like Simon and stay positive, so we'll see what happens. Maybe we're wrong and Vince has a great storyline planned. *Crosses fingers
The last few minutes of that PPV just sucked the life out of the entire event. I feel dirty inside after watching that show. Like all the hype I allowed to build inside myself just turned to shit.
In our opinion, we were quite disappointed with the Royal Rumble 2017. There were no real surprise entrants except for Tye Dillinger (which was kind of expected) and Jack Gallagher. The Undertaker being eliminated by Roman Reigns only made things worse for us. The match of the night had to be AJ Styles vs John Cena as the two of them tore the roof off the building.
Royal rumble was just a hype man roman reigns fucked the entire match.. i mean eliminating undertaker really .Goldberg & undertaker seems too old to wrestle & i hate dean, ziggler, sami & others being jobber to them & no fuckin surprise entrant no joe no baller no nothing & roman reigns on no. 30 it was bull shit.
Roman didn't fuck the whole match , the cry baby fans did , they really pissed me off, I mean I was also hoping for Joe to finally debut and I admit I was disappointed that Roman drew #30 but did that ruin the whole match? no it was a fun match even Roman had a good moment with Undertaker that staredown between the two , Randy winning was unpredictable and quite exciting but the fans already started to cry because apparently they all work in the creative team and already know that it's going to be Cena vs Orton at Mania , it was good not the best rumble but it was good but this shit type of fans are ruining everything in wrestling
abdouhardy oh comeon man...can u believe undertaker being tossed out of the ring by the most hated wrestler in the business....people just doesn't wanna see him in main event picture but instead he is being shuved through our throats..
well in my opinion fuck who the people want and let me give you an example last year when Roman was champ everybody wanted Ambrose there you go people want him and they are behind him etc.... once he won meh he's boring he's stale he's not championship material etc.... and when you think about it people liked Roman till RR15 mainly because D-Bry didn't win it , so their hate towards Roman started for something that isn't even his fault , sometimes I agree with WWE not caring about what the fans want because most fans specially the IWC don't even know what they want , and in my opinion Reigns doesn't deserve this hatred , I mean he always has great matches and last night vs KO was just an example , his character is a bit stale ok but that isn't really a big problem since he's not the only one (enter John Cena) , so when you think about it , if it wasn't for the fans being crybabies that moment when Reigns eliminated Taker and the staredown following it would've been more valuable , and in the end people just whine and cry because their favorite ones didn't win/show up that's why you only need to watch and enjoy not wait someone to win or wait for a surprise entrant , that's what I think
It felt very lackluster, I mean you had to wait until the 25's to actually get anyone of the big stars like Goldberg, Lesnar or Taker. Which just further kills the illusion that anyone can appear next. Chris Jericho stayed out of the ring for a good 13 minutes. Sami Zayn was the MVP in the match, lasting all the way till the end, but got tossed out like a nobody, and while Orton winning is very unpredictable, it came at a cost of building up anyone else interesting and it just further adds tension that he might be facing Cena for the belt. But above all is the fucktard of a decision to let Roman Lames in at 30, despite having a good match with Owens and a promising set up feud with Stroman, only to set up a feud with Taker, who I believe deserves so much better than Reigns.
*Roman enters num 30* Me: Oh No *Starts Eliminating Everyone* Me: No No NO *Eliminates Undertaker* Me: This isn't happening *Makes It Final 2* Me: God Help Us All *Randy Orton Wins* THANK SWEET JEEBUS ABOVE WITH HIS LORDS AND HEAVENS HOLY FUCKING SHIT THAT SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME
What I think the WM match card will be: KO vs Y2J (Universal Title) Bray Wyatt vs Randy Orton (WWE Title after Wyatt wins at Elimination Chamber) HHH vs Seth Roman vs Braun Cena vs Undertaker Goldberg vs Brock Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (Samoa Joe wins)
Actually CM Punk would be AMAZING to see at #30... He was one of the best WWE wrestlers in history, longest reigning WWE champion, and SHOULD be in the Hall Of Fame but Vince is a selfish piece of shit so CM Punk probably won't be in the HOF.
All the matches were really good (AJ V Cena is 5*), I have no problem with Reigns entering n°30 because that was the beginning of a fucking heel turn, look how heelish he was??? 99% of the fans are pissed off, I think that was the aim of Reigns entering n°30. (Once again Bray Randy Roman final 3 in a major PPV that was enjoyable too)
have you every seen a 5* match, a 5*star match that was not. The match was average (not cenas fault or styles), the submissions ruined the flow and the predictable kick-outs even the top rope aa was easy to predict that he would kick-out. Too many un-necessary kick-outs ruined the match for me like it did at summer-slam. I didn't reacted at all besides an eye roll to the match.
WWE were soooo close to getting this right. Just have Bray win instead of Randy, randy win at chamber and then Bray win his first title at Mania. Also, could they have not had Enzo enter at 27 and bring Roman and Styles back in the Rumble? Like why just one? And it makes more sense to have the guy who lost his title last minute enter himself to get it back. I know people say it all the time "wwe saying fuck you to it's fans", but this really felt like it. Like a massive troll saying "you all thought it was gonna be Finn or Joe didn't you? Lol here's roman instead". Did put a bitter end to an otherwise great show
Undisputed Exclusive yeah but at least he will be getting the appropriate reaction from the crowd, the reason the fans hate him so much is because he is the next huge baby face like cena, and they can't make that mistake a heel turn is what he needs
It doesn't make much sense to have Strowman interfere with the title match and cause him to lose.... then have Roman head directly into a feud with Taker over eliminating him. What would be the point of Strowman's interference then?
