@@Max-gy5rp you think you can escape like this huh? Well guess what, i have time abilities as well.. GUARDS GUARDS, A TIEF (puts max lvl items to your inv so you would be charged 5 bil and wait 1 year in real world time even when time skipping)
that is actually how it works in real life too. Go into a store and buy a pair of shoes. Once you paid. Ask how much they are going to pay for those shoes? (Refund is not the same thing, it undoes the trade. Selling it back is different)
RPG logic: "You just turned 12 years old. Now you and only you, can save the world. You can, however, hire mature companions with years of experience and who are much stronger than you. But...we all still depend on YOU...because you are 12 AND your father who was an epic hero and died on the day you were born, failed. Also, here is 5 gold pieces and a stick. GOOD LUCK!!".
"No, you're 11 years old, you can't go adventuring, it's too dangerous." Oh, wait you're 12? Go destroy the Lord of Darkness, who has killed countless max level warriors and mages! I believe you are the chosen one!
@@SCP_Personnel-TF What games do they allow you to buy it? The games I've played usually the higher level weapons are locked until you get to that level.
Reminds me of the division except you bought the special guns with *real* money so you don't know what level you need to be on, so I had these level 30 guns (which is the end game level) which I couldn't use at the start.
@@Slash766 I think you misinterpreted the comment. They weren't talking about this video, they were talking about videogames in general. Some games, for some reason, have one shop. That you have to travel for ages to at times. This wasn't that video, and they knew that.
Bruh. The part where he said “it’s just for display” is so accurate. They be having like 50 swords on the wall, but when you open the shop menu, you get a knife and maybe a bow, as opposed to the big ass sword chilling on the wall.
I thought the bit was gonna end with him buying the sword, then finding a "compare stats" option and finding out the boxing gloves have way higher stats or something. 😂
Just a quick tip, but you really should've gone for the slippers. They have a hidden effect called "Emotional Damage" that stuns enemies for 3 seconds. In the early game, it's extremely useful.
Yeah but you have to max out failure management which is practically impossible because of the amount of skill points in that one tree, and that means you play on Asian difficulty
Professor Oak syndrome: You can’t use specific items indoors, not because it would be reckless, but because a voice tells you that you can’t every time you try it.
So true, if you get a high level weapon that's locked at an earlier part of the game, it definitely sucks compared to weapons that you unlock when you actually reach that level😂😂
everyone knows that merchants are the strongest beings in the world, they could be out there saving the world but they decide not to interfere with mere mortals ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I remember playing a gamebook where it just turns out merchants have incredible powers. You meet one travelling about and get the option to attack him. If you pick this option, the book basically just says "How do you think _he_ survives to do trade in a place like this?! He lifts a finger and blasts you to oblivion" 😂
All this skit is missing is the moment he finally can afford and equip the 800,000 red gem sword, and right after buying it, he finds the exact same sword in a chest somewhere for free.
NOPE. A more accurate one where to be he bought that 800, 000 red gem sword but the one in the chest has better stats in every imaginable way than the store bought one.
@@livisliced mobile ports of certain RPGs (and basically every other game) are just sleezy recycled crap with some exceptions. These range from "not as good as the original" to "a barely playable pay to play game filled with microtransactions"
"You're a rascal. You're a rascal with no respect for knights. No respect for anything except your potions!" "Why respect knights if my potions can do everything that you can?" Pure gold that one
Damn what you said hits home because that's my experience man...bought a hammer with all my money (ingame currency) $12,000and I found out it's trash, tried selling they bought it from me for $80...WTF.(I grinded for 6hrs to get to the 12k) sigh
FR Tho!!! I like how Geralt runs perfectly and really fast with 79.8 kg out of 80kg space and then once i put on a 200gram bandana and he starts walking as slow as a snail.
Jayden Divens It’s bittersweet how true that joke is. Like, I wanna laugh but cry at the same time thinking back to Skyrim and *every single daedric weapon*
It's funny, this video takes me back to a game I used to play a decade ago. Exteel from NC soft. It was pretty much a battle arena where you build a robot and arm it with whatever weapon combination you want. Sword and shield ? You got it. SMG and shotgun ? No problem, rocket launcher and a spear ? Yup, you can do that too. The funnyest thing was that you would use the right mouse button to attack with the weapon in your right hand and a left mouse button for the weapon in your left hand. I liked the idea so much simply for the reason that you could team up with a buddy and have him whip out two machine guns whilst you'd defend him with a 2 shields build. Stay in front of him and raise the two shields creating what was basically a bunker and he'd be able to shoot down opponents from a safe place. It's the sort of team play that i rarely get the chance to see these days. Oh the nostalgia.
“That’s one of the most powerful weapons, forged by master Arvrocado, wielded by a legendary warrior who brought it back in pristine condition” *Compares to own weapon* : +2 attack
@@indraservo5764 When you have to replace a weapon with such a great effect when it drops off in damage is the biggest heartbreak anyone ever has to face. Period
I think that the overpowered NPC merchants actually used to be adventurers back in the day. They ended up completing their quests, got all the side quests finished, retired, and became merchants. They keep up with their training between customers. How's that for head canon
I KNOW RIGHT? You get a legendary sword for free regardless of level if you recruit Katra in the Rocktooth Cavern! All you have to do is accept the one side quest from the guy in Oakwood Village and it works!
Bruh if he did all the side quests, he’s bouts have a Demon Slayer sword without having to go to the shop. And Demon Slayer Armor, with Demon Slayer Modifications so that you have the health of the Final Boss x50 *and he can’t equip it because now he’s level 13*
