Excellent, exciting things again from RTI. Video was a pleasure to watch. As much as I want a Mora, this time im window shopping only 😢. Well done RTI.
I thougt that ROK was Robert :-) Nice to get a face to that very helpful gentleman at RTI . My Prophet Preformance Compact Fat Boy Edition now with pressure assisted valve works like it shoud after I/we figured what I had done wrong. :-) Need to polish the valve again though, first try was air tight but then I went and adjusted the sealing surface angle a little bit and now there is a small leak. I have shot more or less nothing since I recieved the new regulator but it needs some wearing in as the original regulator was more consistent, only problem really was that the coil spring made it hard to adjust because it did not like the high pressures I am currently testing at. :-) Also, I was not going to get any more airguns after the GK-1 but it looks like I might have to... :-D Big thanks to ROK and the rest of the helpful guys at RTI!! And a bit thank you to you as well for sharing Gregor!
Yeh, I have heard about this confusion a few times already. Rob was short for Robert, he retired about 2 years ago. You can see him in my video about RTI's long range barrel...
This is a bad ass rifle!!! Looks heavy, bulky and powerfull. What I loved most: The long magazine (long slugs is the future especially for .17), the ingenious regulator setup where by turning direction you can accomodate a 1 lt bottle, the breathing holes for identifying leaking, the valve adjustment feature, the screw holes for additional rails on the back, the 0.12lt plenum... I don't like the cheap buttstock cover and the price I would like to know if the magazine can be loaded from the other side... I was intrigued that the 0.17 can output 54 fpe of power!!!. I'm not a fun of large calibers for airguns... can bring additional regulations similar to firearm's. Would be interesting to know if mp-mold slug molds are compatible with these barrels.. Gregor should suggest the appropriate cast slug for the 9mm.
Well done RTI and Gregory, I have watched all three videos of the Mora, and you have convinced me that this will be the next PCP purchase and then in .30 version 700 mm. so we're just waiting for the stock to arrive.
They should consider offering an alternative case that fits the gun with a silencer installed so you don't have to remove the silencer every time you transport the gun. It's the way to go to design the gun and silencer as one unit. Then you start looking at options like having the bottle extend past the muzzle which looks goofy till you attach the silencer and now it's suddenly a great looking.
Honestly, unless you wan the rifle to be whisper quiet, you don't need additional suppressor. Especially for smaller calibers. The shroud already has suppression built it, so it is very quiet even without additional suppressor. The case would be way too long for practical purposes to be able to take the 700 mm rifle with additional suppressor on.
@@gregorkamensek3923 Modular gun requires a modular case then :-). It's a good video, btw, but man it's a hostile environment for making videos with the wall of noise.
Hello, I have seen the video that Rock explains something about the regulator, from the bottle it comes out regulated at a maximum of 200 bar and goes to the external regulator where you can adjust it to your liking, it is like this
Yes, correct. First regulator is set to about 200 - 210 bars and it is in the bottle. The second one is RTI's standard externally adjustable regulator...
The barrel is thin unlike the barrel in my LCS SK-19. Skinny or thin barrels do not hold POI imo. I have yet to come across one that does. The slightest bump they are off zero. My LCS never needs re-zeroed. That is the truth 100%.
It's been like that for years on all of rti's other guns with great success, as a right handed shooter I prefer left hand cocking as I can keep my right hand on the trigger
Thanks for the vid! Look forward to this monster of an airgun. Couple questions: 1.Whats the max ammo length? (Believe the 9mm noslers are 19,5mm, and I would like to try those). 2. Will the 9mm also be available in 60cm barrel length? And with a 700cc bottle? 3. Previous prototype was with 150cc plenum (according to older vid), I assume this was overkill especially for smaller calibers, so 125 now. But will plenum extensions be availble or do the prophet and priest plenum extensions fit? Thanks Gregor
Thanks. Here are the answers: 1. Maximum length of the slug that fits in the magazine is 22 mm. I made a mistake in my previous video... 2. According to information I have right now, it should come in option you mentioned. 3. Yes, correct. 150 was overkill so they decided to sacrifice some of this volume for pressure gauge, bleed screw,... I don't see a way to add plenum extension and I also don't see any reason to extend the plenum.
Unfortunately no. RTI did take try to consider this option but the problem is that there is the trigger on the other side and they did not want to risk the trigger "downgrade" just to put this option in...
That barrel is screaming out to be anodized in different colours! 😎👍🏾 Can see it in a nice red colour. Greg, can you ask them? Also do you know if a MDT vertical grip will fit?
You are probably talking about the shroud. I believe they will only have it from CF. Not sure if they will experiment with colours :) I will ask. MDT vertical grip should fit but I haven't tried it yet...
@@gregorkamensek3923 Hi Greg. No not the shroud but the inner barrel. This is the part i’m talking about. You can see it exposed through the cut outs in the aluminium stock. Anodising this part would serve no purpose other than for cosmetic reasons but it would look really really cool! Please ask them if this is possible? Thank you!
@@inspector-tech Hm, I doubt they will do that as it is technically quite challenging. That is an actual steel barrel, so it cannot be anodised. Only thing that makes sense (from technological view) is to have it blued but that will give it a black look...
@@gregorkamensek3923 Aha!! No worries. Looking forward to receiving one of these later this year. I’m going to get the 600mm .22 version. Wondering if this will be around €2.2 - €2.3k like they suggested or do you think this pricing will be for the 500mm version? They should definitely include the hardcase in the price but keep the Arca Swiss/Picc rail attachment & suppressor as an option. Unless, of course, they come out with a ‘Launch Edition’ or ‘Peak Performance’ version that includes everything in the package (including the 1.1 L bottle) and will obviously cost more. What do you think?
@@inspector-tech 600 mm .22 is definitely a good combo. In my mind, this rifle is made for longer barrels. I know that people like the compact look but only with 600 and 700 mm will this rifle show its full potential. The last information I have is that the case will definitely included, and probably also the rail... Don't know about the bottle. My favorite configuration is still with 700cc bottle...
@@sj-k___7145 Yeah, sorry to disappoint. There are very much mixed feelings about the cocking side and having an option to switch sides would be very practical. RTI did consider to have it switchable that would mean that they would have to completely redesign and move the trigger mechanism that is currently on the right side. They decided not to do this because of the good reputation and the efforts they put into this trigger.
I don't have M4, but I do have M3. Mora is a completely different beast. In terms of power, definitely Mora, but if you want a lighter package, then M3/4 or Prophet...
Yes, that was the main goal when this rifle was in development. I will show results when I have a production version. The powers are getting close to theoretical limits here, there is not much more anyone can do with these conditions (these pressures, plenum size, barrel length, …).
It must be the same garbage as the p3 and p2... bad trigger valve, hammer breaks, bad pressure regulator, bad sidelever, rti must change all the engineering if you want to continue selling because they are a disaster
