Remember back in the day when the 1060 and rx 580 got you covered for all games at 1080p and everyone could afford them, I'm afraid we might never see such times again.

I know you have a lot of other GPU's to prioritize after this video, but when you get a moment would you be able to do a benchmark for this game at 1440p, and even 4K? I know it may seem pointless but it'd be interesting to see how much this game cripples the 3060 and how much performance you can get at higher resolutions out of DLSS. I game on 1440p UW so knowing where 1440p stands is super helpful, thanks for your work!

The black bars are called Letterbox it goes back to cinema the movies and i like it if you turn on closed captions it will show up on the black of the letterbox which is nice because its out of the way of the picture.

It’s the Final Cut Pro filters some have default max fps meaning you won’t be able to get your game to run faster until you go inside the files or dlls and change A 30fpsXxX60fps adapt instant 30 fps most game

I'm playing it with an ryzen 5 3600 + rtx 3060 on 1080p highest settings with DLSS on quality and the frames locked at 30 fps via Nvidia Control Panel. Still better than on the Series X... ^^

Why do you enable reziable bar?

When it starts to show either then smooth it’s lower then 60fps and noticeable

This is the official experience of RTX 3060 ofc but the unknown thing is RTX exclusive DLSS3 FG Mod really doing perfect job when it comes to smoothness and input latency in Hellblade 2 and other DLSS3 supported games. I have the MSI Ventus 2X OC RTX3060 12GB model and I have finished the game yesterday and played avg perfectly smooth 95-100 FPS+ on 1080p custom Med/High settings with DLSS Quality + DLSS3 Frame Gen (Nukem mod-0.90 universal/dll version applied) since the first beginning. It was really amazing experience and saved over 250 beautiful screenshots, MSI Afterburner FPS overlay included.. I have used 1440p quality on this game and it doesn’t go below 30 from what I’ve seen. It’s not terrible on this card.

How did you turn off the black bars😮?

You'll get a huge bump in FPS if you set the Global illumination to Low and Volumetrics set to Medium and leave everything else set to High that work for me perfectly in my 1660 super and get almost all of the time 40+ fps with fsr 3 set to quality, and that with the black bars

Hii my friend wants a new gpu and he is aiming to get the 7900gre. But he does want to play Minecraft with raytracing. Is hereby the 4070 super a better pickup or won't it matter much when it comes to Minecraft raytracing? Thanks for the help in advance !

It was like robocop when the game launch we could not disable lumen and ray tracing. It had a buged menu but this one is realy intensive.

1440p DLLS P might be a better option. Looks better than 1080p DLSS Q, although a bit slower, but not by much.

So basically the RTX 3060 performs like my Asrock Challenger D RX 6600, i removed the black bars as well since they look super annoying.

Should've tried it with optimised settings especially with FSR 3 frame gen mod being out there..

I swapped RTX 3060 for RTX 3080Ti and it was the right decision. For some reason the performance of the RTX 3060 is below what it should do.

To kind of be fair, the vram is pretty well optimized compared to a lot of other games.

Cinema 60 is like 67 to 68fps for delay compositing

im playing it at 1440p with dlss on quality with a mix of mid-high settings and i'm getting 40 to 50 fps which is enjoyable and far more better than 1080p 60fps cuz 1080p feels blurry in this game specifically. idk why u didn't test out the 1440p with 3060 it runs well with respectable visuals and frames.

I can actually play this game on my RTX 2070 8GB on 1080p and Medium Settings with DLSS on Quality with 50 - 60fps on average.

I have a 3060ti Coupled with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Thankfully it has no issues at all running this game. I honestly thought the 3060 would have held its own.

try video graphics card with 8 gb memory, when you hit memory limit the FPS drops to 7

Idk I am kinda not impressed with those kind of games, sure it looks amazing, but its also very streamlined. More like an high quality CGI interactive movie. Give me an RPG of the Skyrim type with this kind of graphics and animations and then I will be impressed calling out a true next gen. But this, well interactive movie, nothing more.
