SAM is the same thing as BAR is it not? You can use resizable bar on intel and nvidia gpus together

@@froznfire9531 Don't know about that. My 10900k with a 6800xt begs to differ. Some games with my 10900k and Sam is enabled has plenty more fps than some Ryzen 5000 cpus have.

@@benjy117 SAM can bring some weird results when paired with an Intel CPU. Sometimes it increases performance and sometimes it can even hurt it depending on the game and settings. It's best for it to be paired with a Ryzen.

@@froznfire9531 ja die schlechtesten und qualitativ billigste Modelle. Powercolor 6700xt Fighter für 499€ oder Inno 3D RTX 3070 Twin X2 für 618€ mittlerweile bekommt man auch Ventus 2X Modelle hinterhergeschmissen aber keiner will so n Schrott haben.

gddr6 is quad data rate. That is MT/s and not MHz. divide that number by 4 and you get 1750, which makes more sense. I could be wrong though

@@ManSteveAsperger he's probably referring to the abnormal vram usage by the "3070" which only has 8 gb but uses 10+ in horizon zero dawn and some other titles in this video

U can easily find cheaper 3070s In most countries 3070 isnt that expensive compared to a 6750Xt

From my experience with both, yes. At first differences might seem rather small but the more I play on my 3070 the more I see the limitations the ps5 makes to reach its 4k 60fps target, and that's isn't always the case we still have 30fps on ps5. My 3070 allows me to max the majority of games out but I would be lying if I said all. The pc versions often have higher settings than the consoles. I would put the consoles around the medium/high mark with less demanding things sets to ultra. But what I would suggest is to think less about 4k and more about performance. I used to play in 4k at 60fps with a mix of high and ultra and sometimes some dlss. But then I got a high refresh rate monitor at 244hz, but could only afford 1440p. Yes at first I noticed the clarity difference. But then I took advantage of the head room I had not using 4k and could push the settings futher. 1440p ultra at 144fps+ is vastly better than 4k 60fps. I generally feel like performance is very underrated when it comes to presentation. So I would grab the 3070 and not look twice at the ps5.

@@stolenname94 yea I clearly saw the difference in RDR2. I don’t have a monitor yet and I’m using 55 C1. With ultra settings and DLSS ultra performance mode i get 4k @60.. compare to my PS5, RDR2 runs amazing in 4k in 3070… but cyberpunk was a bummer. I was able to get only 40 or 45 FPS in 4k ultra settings in 3070.

Not much of a difference from my personal experience. I game at 4k and I've used both the rtx 3070 8gb and the rx 6700 xt 12gb. They are similar at 4k. In some titles the rx 6700 xt 12gb can actually beat the rtx 3070 8gb at 4k. Games such as Doom Eternal which has a Nightmare graphics settings that can't be set on a rtx 3070 8gb at 4k. The biggest difference is that the rx 6700 xt 12gb is much cheaper by like 150 usd and rtx 3070 benefits from ray tracing. If ray tracing is super important for a person then I guess the rtx 3070 8gb is a big deal. Most of the games I play don't even support ray tracing. I normally play gta v. Also I think my red devil rx 6700 xt 12gb is gorgeous compared to my gigabyte rtx 3070 white edition. Both are sharp looking cards but I like the led lights more on the rx 6700 xt 12gb red devil. I do worry if my Power Color card goes bad because I can see them being rude and not wanting to honor their warranty. I bought that card new off ebay back on October 5th. It was the cheapest place brand new. I don't know much about PowerColor but I do know Sapphire refused to honor their warranty in the past. I've never had any issues getting Gigabyte or MSI to honor their Warranty from my personal experience. It's these other oddball off brands from AMD that I've had issues with.

@@123456789ronaldo fsr exists and amd raytracing still gets decent fps. Also on linux nvidia is not as good and has less vram. The power draw is also higher, and right now the nvidia cards are more expensive than their amd counterparts 6600 vs 3060 for example

the RTX 3070ti has a too high power draw, it's 200€ more expensive and around 10 degrees hotter than the non Ti. Just for 5% more performance. That's anything but a better deal.
