The 993, it is basically an improved 964. For example, the Carrera 4 reacts more like a Carrera 2 for the 993 generation. On the 964, the repartition of the motricity is 50/50 on the front and on the rear. Another example: the engine of the basic 993 Carrera is a modified 964 Carrera RS 3.6 engine and it is bulletproof. In my opinion, the 993 is a better looking car too.

I feel you bro, I'm so sorry but I'm not going to release it. We got very personal and I want to keep Rudy's life private. I couldn't cut cut it all up and still keep it cohesive. People like Rudy are the reason why normal people cant afford these cars anymore. 2 or 3 understandable, but over 20? He isnt the only one, a guy in my area has a stable of them that he never drives because he says they are an investment. Then we have Seinfeld across the rive. I can justify a driver 997 turbo for 65k, but a base 993 C2 for 65K makes no sense
+J Lang Rudy shares these cars more than most, for that alone he deserves praise. Most of the cars he owns have sat in a garage somewhere until now. He drives them, upgrades and shares them. I love it!!
I do love the cars he has but get a little frustrated when a select group of individuals buy them all up, driving up the prices. It happened with the E30 M3, 1M, Supra and will most likely happen with the manual Mezger based 997.1 turbo. In the future i thought it was a car i would buy but if i dont get one right now im pretty much fucked. All it takes is one automotive journalist to report that the car is cool and its shot up in price not necessarily value.
A hand full of collectors aren't affecting the prices. It's worldwide supply and demand. You should have bought one 4 years ago before the run up in prices.
