Mein erstes Video das ich hochlade. Und wie kannes anders sein. Es ist ein Video mit Rufus. Eigentlich ist es nur die erste Szene in der Rufus autaucht in FF AC Copyright: SquareEnix, Final Fantasy Advent Children
+IronSnake88 lol yeah well it was only just over halfway through FFVII when he realised it, so by the time of this scene he's known for a pretty long time
If Tifa was there to and heard Reno mention “rebuilding Shinra”, she’d be pissed not only cause of what Shinra did in the past but also since she’s literally a stepmom for that young boy Cloud found awhile back who lost his parents when the Sector 7 plate fell. (Also Reno was the one who pulled the trigger as well)
You should read The Shinra Files, it's canon and it gives a great insight into his true personality and his values. For me it was a real treat back then.
0:51 This might be the most accurate to a video game scene in any video game movie. Cloud just mashes through Rufus's dialogue because he doesn't care and wants to get past this part.
Reno: “Come on Cloud, don’t you wanna help Shinra get back on top?” *Cloud remembers Shinra Soldiers shooting down Zack, The collapse of Sector 7, Tseng slapping Aeris, and Hojo creating Sephiroth which lead to the destruction of his hometown and death of Aeris* Cloud: “Not interested.”
Also, Sephiroth is a victim of Shinra's shitfuckery, too. Remember those books he was reading in the Mansion *just before* the Nibelheim Incident? They were filled with false information about Sephiroth's origins. And because of this, Sephiroth went insane. I don't think filling the Shinra Mansion's library's books with bullshit was deliberate on Shinra's part, they just didn't know as much as they do now about things like Jenova. Still, the fact that they lied to Sephiroth was, indeed very wrong. Also, Dr. Hojo almost killed Lucrecia, who was Vincent Valentine's love interest. And they experimented on Vincent, himself. Shinra has alot to answer for.
Not to mention they've been extracting the lifeblood from the planet with their damn mako reactors to provide energy to the people for money and material greed for years.
Cloud: Me Rufus: My friend convincing me that it's not my fault Reno: that one friend of mine that accidentally points out what I specifically did wrong
It's actually not a trap. At this point they've been working on a treatment for Geostigma that they were planning on distributing for free. They are planning on rebuilding, but it's a different Shinra than before, hitting rock bottom and working their way back up. The monument that gets destroyed later was actually built by Reno and Rude with help from the people. Of course, I'm not saying it's stupid of Cloud to walk away. Anyone sensible should have doubts about them, but there is a reason why Reno and Rude are out their saving kids during the big fight in this one.
@@emeryltekutsu4357 Rufus was manipulating him using the kids to emotionally get Cloud to do something he wanted, ie be muscle to handle Kadaj. Sure, he may want to rebuild ShinRa and make up for what his company has done wrong - that does not make him not manipulative. Cloud was being manipulated and it nearly worked if not for Reno.
@@kellevichy But Cloud is the muscle that handles Kadaj. At this point, they've already tried fighting Kadaj. The Turks were the first ones to come in contact with him, besides Kyrie, who just thought she was her old friend, and they already knew it was Jenova. Tseng realized it pretty much right away. The Turks had already tried to fight Kadaj unsuccessfully. What were they supposed to do at that point? Let Jenova run rampant, or try to bring in the big guns? They're not necessarily saints, but they are trying to save the world at this point, knowing full well how Cloud and crew view them.
"Come on, Cloud. Don't you want to help rebuild the organization that stuck you in a tube for four years and turned you into a vegetable?" You drive a hard bargain, Reno.
If Tifa was there to and heard Reno mention “rebuilding Shinra”, she’d be pissed not only cause of what Shinra did in the past but also since she’s literally a stepmom for that young boy Cloud found awhile back who lost his parents when the Sector 7 plate fell. (Also Reno was the one who pulled the trigger as well)
Delivery? I would imagine someone would come up with a spin-off game where Cloud delivers stuff while fighting the dangers out there. Fighting off monsters and thieves. What... don't we a delivery game already? XD
Well hello again xD I think it is possible this was staged. Had Rufus really wanted Cloud to join him as a bodyguard, he would have told him about the Jenova cells and the obvious connection to Sephiroth. No matter how much Cloud dislikes Rufus or Shinra, he would not have taken the risk of Sephiroth returning. No, I think Rufus wanted to feed Cloud certain information so he would have to get involved with the plot. Without Cloud noticing that he was being manipulated ofc. So when Cloud actually considered helping him Reno had to make a "mistake". Reno might be lightheaded but he is not stupid.
@@Ziliverina Hello there again glad to see you on comments again I think that Rufus would still hide the box even if he convinced Cloud to rejoin Shin-Ra Because i think Rufus gave strict order to Reno and Rude to not told him about the box they fucked up by telling to Kadaj brother instead 😂😂 Rufus maybe was afraid of Cloud Alter Ego Sephiroth like it was explained by Hojo (i would like to see this on the remake it would be badass if they fit it with the original when he consideres Hojo as second rate scientist maybe Rufus will threat him with Shootgun who knows i personally think that Hojo is afraid of Rufus he got reborned when Rufus was declered dead and after this acted like he was the boss of Shinra same as Heidegger and Scarlet)
@@Ziliverina Maybe they will add Rufus Limit break Sister Ray Beam shooting with coins or with shootgun who knows for sure he will get a better upgraded shootgun after the battle with Cloud i hope this happens
@@arnold666heartagram Well Hojo quit and ran the second Rufus became President. So I guess that says a lot. I hope we will get more interactions between Rufus and the Turks in the next parts. But I would like an upgraded shotgun and a rematch too!
Man, before this movie came out there was so much mystery around the guy in the wheelchair. A lot of people assumed it might have been sephiroth... then Tseng was mentioned. It was a bit... disappointing when it was IMMEDIATELY revealed who it was. But his scene with Kadaj totally made up for this.
I love how Reno is shut outside the door, but barges in on Cloud's convo with Rufus anyways 😂😂😂 1:28 - "I'm still out here." 1:35 - "yep, at the northern cave!" 2:09 - "you're are buddy aren't ya?"
I swear, if Rude leaned his head back just a bit further and yelled "If you smellllllllll what The Rock Is Cooking!", yup that would have made it priceless 👌 😀 😄 🤣
@@ZeldaLover6 Rufus had broken rips, fell through a chute while escaping certain death and smackef onto a wall. He found himself in a small "Safe Room" and where he found expiref potions and medicine. He ignored the former, taking several of the latters, before trying to get out. When he finally got out (after what I assume were several highs of the meds, as he laughed a few times uncontrollably), he collapsed right into Reno's arns and was taken to safety. .. Only to be kidnapped twice shortly afterwards (basically his original kidnappers died and their doctor, a former scientist under Hojo, took him hostage). Forced into a cave alongside Geostigma infected for several months, Rufus almost drowned and was infected with Geostigma mere moments before he was saved. Kilmister (scientist/ doctor who had kidnapped him) worked for him in Healen on a cure and found out many things (e.g. the connection to Jenova). Fearing that Kilmister would turn into another Hojo or Hollander, he gave another survivor of the cave (Judd) a gun, with which Kilmister was killed. As for why Rufus gave Judd the gun? Kilmister shot Judd's gf right in front of him, almost hitting Rufus who wanted to help her. Basically, Rufus allowed Judd to take revenge for his dead gf almost two years later. (Source: On The Way To A Smile - ShinRa's Story) Also, Rufus was called 'Doofus Rufus' a short time before the movie and probably even afterwards. He also has a younger half-brother which he met during the two years between OG 7 and ACC.
It seems Rufus's near death experience was a real wake up call for him here. After seeing the bad state the world was in he finally realized how extremely wrong Shinra has been all this time and all their actions. Extracting the lifeblood from the planet with their damn reactors for energy to make money and being obsessed with finding the so called promised land which was nothing but a myth. Also Shinra never ever realized that their scientist Hojo was a MAD one and he had his own ambitions with his Jenova project and he's the one who's responsible for Sephiroth and all the bad things he did since thinking Jenova was his mother which she was really not.
@Brad Eddy Reno adopted the jokester façade he has in The Film as a way of hiding his guilt for his part in the Sector 7 incident which orphaned Denzel and many other children.
Here's my question , why the hell were Rufus and the Turks allowed to live considering that the Turks are responsible for dropping the sector 7 plate killing tens of thousands of people and all the various other crimes that Rufus and the Turks committed . Its like everyone just suddenly forgot what monsters they are and just went "oh well , lets let bygone's be bygone's" .
Rufus was thought to be dead and was in hiding. (The plate falling was all his dads and Heidegger’s idea, Rufus had nothing to do with it.) The Turks were seen helping evacuate the people of Midgar and during Meteor Fall it was more important to deal with Hojo and Sephiroth. Also if you did the Wutai side quest where you temporarily team up with the Turks they basically become “buddies” as Reno said here and you the choice to *not* fight them during the raid on Midgar.
Says he escaped before the building collapsed. Ok but how did you survive the point blank blast from Diamond's attack? Seriously the whole room exploded.
@@Wafflyy I read the novel. But Cloud left Tifa's bar, 20 days before Advent children starts. So it's not incoherent if he lives with others infected orphans in the church. (I am not sure. It's a theory people had since 2005)
I will *always* prefer Steve Burton as Cloud -- there's a certain strength yet softness to his delivery that perfectly embodies Cloud as a character. I enjoy Cody Christian's portrayal; although, it just seems a bit generic and somewhat contrived.
Rufus didn’t really do much to Cloud and it was Cloud that challenged Rufus to a fight in FF7. And the Turks were just following orders, they don’t have to like their orders but they have no choice but to obey.
It was 2005. The syncing technology at Square Enix`s NA division wasn`t up to snuff at the time like it is now and they rushed The Film to celebrate the Original FFVII`s 20th Anniversary. The CGI is still far more realistic than many CG Films nowadays.
@@Killer_Kris7 There were also creative disputes between the cast and crew in Japan. For instance, Director Tetsuya Nomura said that Loz was his least favorite Remnant despite his son Kenji voicing him in the original Japanese release!
No, that was his dad and Scarlet’s doing. I believe, if I remember correctly, Rufus was on house arrest in Junon after being caught secretly funding the old Avalanche to kill his dad.
i think you meant the blu ray version, this is the non blu ray version that comes out before it, both japanese and english version has the same scene, but the blu ray version has a lot of additional scenes i remember what that you meant though, there's a scene where reno tries to get inside of the house but cloud slam the door THEN lock it from inside, and when rufus tells him the story about kadaj and the ganks, there's this scene where he attacked Tseng and Elena when they're trying to recover jenova's cell
