Thanks so much for watching this . Ed Reed is my favorite player of all time. A defense with the best middle linebacker and free safety of all time was really a pleasure to watch every sunday for so many years. You should definitely watch the video of bill belicheck an tom brady reacting to ed in film study. Also there is an amazing play from a Miami college game where he rips the ball out of his teammate's hands and runs the length of the field for a touchdown. This guy came up with clutch plays so many times, it would take an hour to catch them all on one video.
Hell yeah, weapon x, the wolverine. Dude had a locker for him, and one for his alter ego lol! Legend. I met him once at a preseason Eagles hype party at Xfinity Live. Nobody in Philly will ever speak ill of him for eternity.
Lewis retired after the super bowl and Reed played 2 more years 1 with the Jets and the other with the Texans. Crazy to think arguably the best safety and middle linebacker played on the same team together for so many years. Ravens had one of the greatest defenses of all time.
These are oldies but goodies... Johnny Unitas, Dick Butkus, Jack Lambert and especially “Night Train” Lane. I’ll join other commenters with Ronnie Lott also.
Thank ypu for finally doing ed reed but you missed out on his college highlights at the university of MIAMI. Would love to see you revisit him. Please please please
Highlights can’t do justice to just how special it was to witness Ed Reed. The sense of awe you got, as you watched him snatch a interception outta nowhere in the most amazing ways, within the flow of a live game can’t be replicated on a youtube vid lol
Julio Jones.. only 3 players active have 200+ receiving yard games, Julio has multiple 250 yard games and a 300 yard game, hes basically a Tightend playing wide receiver, hes seen as the greatest active Wide receiver by hall of famers such as Dion Sanders, Chris carter, Shannon Sharpe, Tony Gonzalez, ect, hes a beast, also ran the 40 yard dash at 4.39 with a broken foot, hes truly unbelievable for being so fast for how huge and strong he is, Riseup
id take HOF players that actually played the game over a fans opinion, and yeah he has the AB has the amazing stats with the amazing QB, stats dont mean everything dog
Always loved watching Ravens games when the opposing QB would take a shot downfield and Ed would come flying in from out of the camera frame for the interception. Insanely high awareness mixed with that athleticism is something every defensive coordinator wishes they had at that position
Drew Brees will likely become the NFL all time passing leader this year. He owns most QB records. The Most acurate QB in NFL history. Took a doomed franchise and turned them into Superbowl champs in 3 years. Brees is the most underrated QB of this generation. No disrespect to Brady, Manning, Rogers and other greats but Drew is my all time favorite.
I love Peyton Manning. He was my favorite player for a while before we got Brees. He is a great ambassador for the city of New Orleans. I have the greatest respect for the entire Manning family.
Passes that hit the ground are considered incompletions and thus dead balls, so yes you must catch or intercept before it touches the turf. Kicks, punts, runs, and non-forward passes are live balls, and can be recovered and returned by the defense.
Loved that description/comparison to rugby. It explained more to me than any other comparison. Much easier when you compare positions with American Football positions.
Ed Reed and Ray Lewis both went to the University of Miami, which happens to be my favorite college football team. In 2001 they had the generally accepted best team in college football history with 17 eventual 1st round nfl draft picks and a total of 38 players that would end up getting drafted in the NFL. You should do a video checking out the wiki page for that 2001 Miami Hurricanes team and see if you can find a video on it. Love the videos man, keep it up!
Alex l ok jj watt is a really good person and an amazing player, but he is injury prone, and ray lewis is honestly probably the best linebacker of all time
BadgerIsASavage yeah injuries have messed up his career but when healthy I think watt is better. Ray Lewis never got close to winning a league MVP, Watt on the other hand got robbed of one
Love ED REED! He is a Raven for life! We get to claim him as our own here in Baltimore! I am a die hard Ravens fan! I am a lifelong resident of Baltimore! I grew up as a Ravens fan! Thank you ED Reed for the wonderful memories as a Raven! We miss him! #RavensFlock #RavensNation
Ed Reed left after Ray Lewis retired to play for the Texans and the Jets but his playtime decreased and he was getting injured. In 2015 he finally retired. With Reed in the back field(safety) and Lewis as middle Linebacker(Middle Line) that defense was always rank the best. I love the way how they played the game.
Russell "Dange-Russ" Wilson soon, the man is an absolute magician, deemed to short he has lit up defenses like very few are capable of and won more games then any quarterback in their first six years... In 2017 he was the leading passer and the leading rusher for the Seattle Seahawks and literally put the team on his back while one of the greatest defenses of all time was falling apart. Which leads me to my next suggestion, the Legion Of Boom, you have already watched one of the members, Bam-Bam Kam Chancellor but he is just one of the cogs to arguably thee greatest defense of all time... L.O.B. for life!! Great job on all the videos btw, it's like showing a new friend my favorite past time and seeing you react to some of my idols and legends in my life is awesome, keep it going!
I may be the only one... but... I’m telling you, you will love watching Tyler Lockett. His speed is positively explosive, and his kick return highlights look like he’s just strolling through the park haha.
hey, love your videos man.. it’s great to see two different world collide and your perception and view of our side. maybe try reacting to something a little different like best laterals?
Great video's Bro.. Keep them coming. You have to do one on Larry Allen. One of the greatest offensive linemen who ever played. The man bench pressed 700lbs in his prime.
Coming out of the smoke I believe originated at the University of Miami where Reed and Lewis both played. It's now done by a lot of teams, recently my Buckeyes started doing it.
6:48 It's so fast but i think that's Clinton Portis who tried to take Ed's head off. He liked to head hunt defensive players if they got and int or fumble recovery. He was another great University of Miami player like Ed and Ray.
Bro you should be reacting to Julio Jones one of the best receivers in the NFL today it makes up for everything whenever he goes up to make those nice catches most dominant catches and everything else you would be shocked that we see what the things he do it would be worth it to watch him
Baynes Copelin Plus in my biee Julio Jones is one of my favorites and the best of my mom cuz I'm an Alabama fan and he comes from Alabama so yeah but Metatron he's one of the best too
Julio is the best today I believe megaton is a beast watched him from college all the way to end but Julio is just a notch better to me he’s got the skill to be all time best only knock against that happening is the Falcons are loaded so Ryan don’t force the ball to him so he don’t get as many catches he would if he played on a team where he’s the only target and what’s so awesome is he don’t mind not getting the ball he’s a true team player
On a forward pass, the ball is "dead" as soon as it hits the ground. A punt is "live" until it is possessed by the receiving team or touched by the kicking team unless it happens behind the line of scrimmage. When that happens (as on a block) it is treated as a fumble.
Frank Williams Wilfork was great, but reacting to highlights of a guy stuffing runs would be a bit boring, especially to someone who doesn't fully understand the game yet like Jacob.
love the vids especially from someone who doesn't know too much about football its nice to see a reaction from someone who has never heard of these all time greats. love the positivity in your vids as well keep it up
Alex Johnson Hell naw toss whatever you're smoking this way. Panthers smith was the most explosive and dynamic not to mention best years of his career💯
Alex Johnson naw look up his explosive plays on the panthers which are far more than on the ravens lets be real he played only a couple seasons with ravens no way in hell did he have more spectacular plays on ravens in a few older years than on the panthers where he was his whole career homie
Alex Johnson Oh and to clarify if you thought i meant "Ravens steve smith" when i said "Not the giants steve smith" i was talking bout a whole separate player named steve smith that played for giants i was telling him not to confuse the Panthers Steve Smith for the Giants Steve Smith who both played the same position too in Wide Receiver lol
You should do a segment on the University of Miami. A lot of the greats you feature are from the University of Miami. Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Sean Taylor...Great story and great history.
Deandre Hopkins career highlights best WR in the game dudes been playing without an good or average QB for years he's played with 8+ qbs all inside of 6 years who where all BUMS & constantly puts up top 5 numbers since his rookie season.led the NFL in TDs & finished 3rd most yards this season. FYI Jalen Ramsey & Hopkins match up twice a year.
La Tortuga Picante DUDE YOU A STRAIGHT MORON. Hopkins have 2 1200+ yard season Hopkins had 1500+ & 11 TDs with Matt schaub. Now where did you get your information from? Hopkins had 2 season he didn't have 1000 yards & that was with BROCK OSWEILER & he still had 900+ yards that year & his rookie season.😑
fun to watch . even when older injured he better than most .. marshal faulk is a must look .. old buffalo bills don bebe wr and steve tasker special teams turned wr block kicks . they could run as well . old track stars as well .old raider who was real fast .. maybe it was cliff blanchard .
You should check out highlights of the 2001 Miami Hurricanes. They went undefeated and had about a dozen future NFL players including Ed Reed, Andre Johnson and Clinton Portis. The 2003-04 USC Trojans were pretty stacked too.
Of you’re doing safeties you should do Eric Berry. Not only is he the best current safety but just a few years ago was diagnosed with cancer, beat in in one years time and came back and played the following safety. That season became the comeback player of the year. Not only is he a great player but an even better human being.
Ed Reed was an amazing player. A true ball hawk. I have seen every NFL game he has played in as a Ravens fan. The only thing I didn't like Ed Reed doing later in his career was punt returns. Yeah he can make moves and return kicks but I was always afraid he was going to fumble the ball and he did sometimes and it was because of how he would hold onto the ball.
