Good video, exactly the direction I want to head in with reloading. I've owned a GSR now for about 4 years now and its a great rifle! I found it needed some breaking in (1000 rds), how was it for you?
thanks for the update video! I still have my laminate stock on my GSR but would certainly love the cut the weight if possible... im sure it makes a big difference. What is the plan with the new setup? Still going to mount scope in traditional spot vs. forward mounted?
ddyoder The scout is front heavy enough as is, ill stick with a traditional scope set up. I love the fixed power scopes from SWFA probably another 10 or 12X
nice! I'm a huge SWFA fan... i have a fixed 10x42 MilQuad and their 3-15x42 MilQuad FFP as well. Can't beat the value and I've installed the shim sets from Tim (SnipersHide) to create my own zero stops. Cheers!
so far so good on the 3-15 FFP though I agree that the 10x is going to be less complicated, more robust and is a NO BRAINER. That being said, I really enjoy the 3-15 ffp on a semi-auto platform shooting many things, at various distances, quickly. Did you see the Black Friday deal they had this year for Fixed 10x with scope rings and bubble level for $259!!??! Insane.
