Join us at the annual December Runaway camper rally at Mill Dam recreation area in Ocala National Forest. #tinycamper #camping #camper #runawaycampers #offroadcamper
Nice turn out, I have to say I like your set up the best and the color with those wheels is perfect. Those sunsets with that glass lake amazing. God Bless
My wife and I are both retiring at the end of 2024, we are researching the compact camper options. Your videos are the very best, informative and inspiring. Y’all keep the videos coming cause I going to keep watching.
I enjoy watching runaway videos as I considered buying one but ended up choosing a CampInn 550 instead. Thanks for making this video in HDR as it looked great on my TV. Great people and fun seeing their setups.
Thanks for watching. These rally’s are always a great time. The big runaway homecoming is next month. There’s generally 65-70 campers at that one so we will have another video of that one when the time comes.
Enjoyed the video and I saw a few familiar faces from our attending the Homecoming Rally, as well as other rallies. I have more than a few Runaway Camper specific videos on my channel - over one million views of my many Runaway videos. I have a video showing my installation of a MaxxAir fan AND a MaxxAir passive vent in the very first fiberglass made. It is really a great addition to any Runaway. We now have moved on to a Ford Transit 250 DIY camper van we converted there years ago. We still attend Runaway rallies and have remained good friends with the Shives family. Blessings!
Thank you for sharing as it looks like you all had a very nice time at the rally. I was not aware of the Runaway Camper brand, so thank you so much for sharing. Very Nice video and I love how so many these people are living out their dreams in the outdoors. I also visited the Runaway website and love their story. The Owl shots are amazing. Merry Christmas!
Thanks for watching. It’s a great time at this event every year. We have had our Runaway for about 2.5 years and have been happy with it so far. Gets us off the ground and no more packing up a wet tent lol. Merry Christmas to you as well!
Those are made by black diamond and I believe moji was the model. I’ve had them for a couple of years and heard they had been discontinued. Not sure about that though. You could check black diamonds website or Amazon.
I just took some short Velcro straps that have a small buckle and attached them around the awning support bars where I wanted the lights to be. Then I just hook the lights through the buckle.
This is basically a day use area in spring, summer and early fall. It’s not really a campground. Lots of family reunion’s etc held here. In late fall it becomes a group camp by reservation but campers/vehicles must remain on the asphalt.
