2020 hasn’t been great, but I was able to run the No Business 100 in Tennessee and Kentucky on October 16-17.

This race has it all, a beautiful single loop course, tons of single tracks, climbs, water crossings, wildlife, all with a great RD and amazing volunteers!! I would absolutely recommend running this race to anyone who’s interested. I’ll be back one year to run it in the opposite direction and get my 200 mile buckle!!

When you got emotional i started to tear up for you man. I totally understand the hard work you put into training for this race and the effort you had to give to complete the race and your tears are just your body's way of letting go all that pent up stress and tension. I have run a marathon, many halfs and a ton of other races. Never thought it would stop. Then Covid lockdown, cancer diagnoses and treatments, multiple eye surgeries with being blind in my left eye and no depth perception. In the 2020 to 2022 years. Lost 2+ years and now I am 71+ and started back running. It will hard with failures, but eventually heroic. Thanks for uploading your race, definitely encouraging. Doing it all on my own, but hope the bucket list has an Ultra in it for me.

Congrats on the race. I loved the Olympus 4s. My pair just died a couple of weeks ago, splitting wide open on one of my runs. They were red like yours which is why they reminded me of mine. Still searching for a new favorite.

Congratulations on your finish and another awesome video! Also I want to thank you for the motivation, inspiration and emotion that came through your video. It was great to see you running through my very backyard in an area that rivals many more famous locations around the country (I live about 20 miles from Pickett). I attempted No Business last year but missed my cut off at great meadow which last year was at mile 78. But this year I’ll be ringing in the new year with my registration for 2021s race. Amazing. When you were getting towards the end and got emotional it showed how much the race and what you were doing meant to you. I just finally ran a 37 mile race and I felt so emotional as well. Great work Ryan and wonderful video.

Hey, Ryan, what a fun find!! I'm also in WL...know your folks and I think you know our oldest son David. I'm closing in on 100 marathons and ultras and am potentially ramping up to a 100 miler in fall 2021. One of the hardest things about running an Ultra, is getting the bib onto your shorts in such a way so that one of those safety pins isn't millimeters away from your junk ;-) I did a race once where ''THAT'' safety pin unpicked itself and if it hadn't been for my race number flapping around i'd not have noticed and had I taken a fall....not worth thiniing about. lmfao GREAT video dude you've sorted out the mic issues as well.....this is AWESOME :-)

I only knew about this race due to Chihping posting it on FB. I put myself on the waiting list because all California races were cancelled. I’m glad I did. NB100 was my favorite ultra so far. Scenic and wild. First time I ran with Chihping too.

Really great video - I thought you showcased the course really well. The terrain and rock features look incredible! I also just watched your Run Rabbit Run video from 2018. Great job. Really enjoyed this video and you sharing the ups and downs and all the emotions. I really think that is worth so much more than a lot of videos were all of that is cut out. The struggle and hurdles during a race is the most important.

Wow wow such a huge accomplishment, especially with no crew or pacers. I especially loved seeing the lows, which sounds weird but you don't see that part of it a lot, so when *I'm* in it I think something must be wrong with me. But way to fight back. ... Just did my first 50 miler 3 weeks ago and hoping to step up to 100k or even 100 miles in 2021.

Inspirational, your were so organised and prepared. Took note of some great tips, lead up running streak, foot care well before race day and on and during race day, nutrition adaption, plus, plus....need to watch this again, and again.
