I currently run with the MIR Weighted vest with 39 pounds. I started off with 20 pounds and my 2 mile run has gone from 16 minutes to 14 minutes. It does put stress on your shoulders and back.
Great video and ideas! I am on the level of functional fitness but I love to do turtle-jog on mountain trails. Is it a good idea to do warmups, like for a first set (or day), and slightly increase the weights (like stretches) the next day or wait a week? Or, keep the weight constant?
