Runningbacks need acceleration in order to effectively explode through holes and gain the most yards possible. In this video, I put myself through a workout to improve acceleration and runningback skills.
The FULL WORKOUT:
-Dynamic Warmup
-Acceleration drills (2 sets of 10 yards each): Ankle Dribbles, A walk, A march, A skip, Switches
-Heavy Sled Pulls: 10 10-yard sprints with no more than 50% body weight on the sled.
RB Drills: One cut acceleration; stepover jumpcut drill
