Good morning, I would like to ask, I have the headphones audiotechnica ath m70x and I connect them in my studio, to the controller presonus station v2, I have seen a video of yours the headphones amplifier Rupert neve designs and my question is, I have my sound card apogee quartet , if I connect it to that amplifier, will I gain more sound quality by my headphones audiotechnica? Or would not there be a big difference between connecting my headphones to my card directly or to my presonus station v2?

Is it true that all equipment needs burn in time and how much time for the RNHA?

Since the Neve doesn't have an input clipping indicator, how do you prevent clipping them?

Hi Master! which model of headphones are you using? are good ones for mixing? I,ve always have troubles mixing vocals because always appears undesireable sounds in vocals tracks like a metronom or even music. which kind of headphones you can recommend us for recording vocals and mixing? thanks!

Decent solid state amplifiers almost always sound exactly the same, give or take 0.1db. The biggest factor by far is usually when the output impedance of the amp is too high compared to the headphones impedance, you can hear some frequency response deviation but on all good solid state amps that output impedance is near zero so it's not a problem. On all good modern solid state amps, the crosstalk, distortion and noise level are down into the inaudible realm so it's not a problem, that's why they all usually sound the same. Pardon my ignorance but is the SSL solid state or tube? does it have hearable amounts of distortion. I don't know much about consoles

If i had this in my hands I wouldn't know what to do with it. If it has some distortion on high gain or color i might plug my guitar into it then into my audio interface. I work alone so i don't need an extra head phone out for musician/singer/artist.

Warren you need a switch to save you switching the headset jack.

A more objective test would've involved at least level-matching the two :) As we all know, louder is perceived to be "better" - just one of our many failings, as human beings...
