What you should realise David many of us who watch your blogs never go on foreign roads everything is good for us ,a blog every day would make our day, a chat with blogs would be fantastic, get them coming, ❤️
As a retired trucker doing Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria I am happy to be part of your day and and travel with you. You're genuine and I like that.
As a former driver, who now drives a desk all day, I enjoy seeing the driving element reversing, loading crossings etc. I’m a new subscriber and enjoying the videos.
Hello mate, as an owner driver for 30 + yrs on uk only, you are a breath of fresh air showing us how its done over the water, down to earth how it really is and very humble and genuine. Keep them coming anyway you want, looking forward to the next one, take care mate.
Absolutely brilliant Vlog David , I do enjoy watching these as you are explaining Everything , it is like a trip down memory lane for me . A daily blog would be amazing ! Stay safe and keep on trucking . 👌👌👌👌👌
David honestly I watch your vlogs not just because there good but because I like you and your attitude and the way you inform people,,, honestly I'd watch a daily vlog just keep the time-lapse to a minimum I'd say. Keep up the great work and best of luck in business 👌👌👌🇮🇪
Loving the respect and politeness shown - like you say goes a long way. 24nhears in the military and I still call people sir in any job I have done since
Absolutely fabulous vlog 🤙 I'd kill come work for you on the euro circuit, proper knowledge an conduct towards the gig, learn a shed load off ya I'd bet 👍 All the best DC, your only gonna get stronger fella as you've the right spirit for it 💪💪
Great video David. You show all the aspects of haulage and it shows the younger folk how it all works. I’m an ex driver and would have found this video very helpful. Drive safe and good health.
Absolutely love your vlogs David, and a daily one would be superb. I’ve taken a lot of inspiration personally from your videos / guidance. Please keep it up 👍
To be honest I can never really work out why I enjoy watching trucking VLOGS, especially as I still drive myself (Non European), but I do !! Yours are generally more informative which can make them more interesting, additionally you're an owner operator which brings a different slant. Having driven many routes in Europe towing the old holiday 'wobble box' I see many sights which are familiar but just watching tarmac and trees does get boring. Your idea of a daily VLOG is one worth giving a go as it cuts down on how long viewers sit it front of a screen, could be good or bad, each to their own ( someone who is less mobile may love longer vids and viewing the tarmac). Whatever if people want to watch, they will. Take it easy there's snow en route.
Superb volg.Loved all the coverage of going through the French customs and all the procedures you have to go through.look forward to the next one.keep up the good work
Very interesting. I’ve driven through the tunnel in a car and also when sat on a coach and always feel a sense of adventure when passing through border crossings, ferry / tunnel terminals. Enjoyed and subscribed. 👍
Love your vlogs love to hear you interact with the French the look on there face when they realise you are fluent.more roads it’s not boring to old couches and we hope you do well in the future.
Hiya mate, This video was in my recommendations, and I've really enjoyed it!! I've known about the train and stuff but have never seen anyone go through the process. So, it was really interesting/fascinating to see. Love what you said about manners, much respect. You take care, mate, and have a fantastic weekend!! 😁👍
Hi David, brilliant vlog keeps everyone interested, as a old timer it’s great to see the places I can relate to, it never gets boring as it was part of my life for many years like most of us old boys I would struggle with all the legislation !! Why is it always the truckers fault, the cyclists and the trucker, the car and the trucker, the public and the trucker and of course the ministry police and do gooders !!! Keep up the great work and wish you well for the future boy 👍😎
Great video mate. I used to run to Paris and Lille for UPS, and occasionally Belgium. Really enjoyed those trips, and would have been happy to have done European work all the time if I was younger, single and no kids! Never did cross the channel on the boats I only used the tunnel with the trucks, Calais terminal hasn’t changed much since Brexit.
Hi David, just came across your channel, some great videos for me to watch, as a visually impaired person i'm unable to drive a car let alone a truck so i find your vblogs very interesting and informative, like going through the tunnel as a driver with your camera, keep the vblogs coming, stay safe and well.
Don't drive a truck but thoroughly enjoy your vlogs because we've driven and drive them road's in our motorhome so regonise lots of your route's, you also make the truck hours etc interesting for a non trucker like me, keep them coming 👍.
Just new to your vlog David. I'm also happy with a daily vlog. Justtruckin of the USA, who is also self employed in South Carolina, does them daily (funnily enough, he's also having problems with getting jobs, very few and far between). I would prefer watching out the window. I love looking at the road. Although I've never been a truck driver, I have been on holiday with my lovely hubby (I was his wife), and he sadly died 3 years ago, and I keep his name in memory. Our first trip was in the 1980s, when we visited Celle and the area around there where he was in the army, and also based at Belsen (famous for the concentration camp); and we drove via Antwerp and Arnhem and the across the border into Germany
Really enjoy this explains a lot to me I ask my son in law who drives for Waitrose about all the different issues you have happy trucking and good French as well 😊
Hello David, good idea doing a short daily. Have you watched "Trucker Josh" in Canada? He has done a daily for years. I watch him every evening. Hope you make the PG9 deadline Keep up the good work. Regards PJ in Ponthir
Loving the daily dude.... appreciate you probably think it's boring but for many of us it's a new experience.... don't forget to put an outtro at the end of your video to make sure you get the likes
David i took my 2 step daughters to Burgos no problem leaving at dover ,they slept on the bunk i slept on the seats and we swapped ,not a problem ,but trying to get home at Calais 18 hours in a porta cabin trying to explain why i have too girls with me with different names in my wifes maiden name ,big problem .
Brilliant if you could do a daily vlog I've loved watching all of them so far right from the beginning when you started with the merc top bloke very interesting and I'm learning loads from you and being stuck in a wheelchair gives me the opportunity to see things I otherwise wouldn't top bloke David keep it coming I look forward to more I'm also a tik tok follower and the have a couple of the hoodies which are comfy and have kept me warm through winter takecare David
@35:00 Tramlines, my 7.5t Atego used to suffer badly from Tramlines as its track was slightly narrower than a class 1 so would bounce from left to right..
NGL, your making me want to get into doing continental work! But, the way you speak that french of.. chips cheese gravy on a croissant? 👀😂 (mixing manchester with french)
Another fantastic vlog David. I love your honesty. I wish you all the best with DCE. Oh and where did you learn to speak such excellent French? 👍🏼🏴
Hi mate. Very interesting vlog TBH. Trucking game is never easy, I know it from experience. So being good to people does help, I fully agree. Just out of curosity, where did you learn to speak fluent French? Keep up the good work. Greetings from Poland.
Wow .. The train has changed on the french side so much since when I first doing it in 2003 ... It was Rapid service passes and very little agro! I doff my cap at you speaking French mate .. I dabble with German and like you say ..Just to be polite and trying to sound like the language helps so much.. Love your vlogs mate .. I watch them all .. Good luk with your wedding ... If your photographer lets you down ...i am on standby as spoke about on the #Cbtalk app .. Regards .. Jim .. aka Red Rabbit ...
David, will you stop fretting about vlog content! You are a very engaging and extremely informative. Even a simple (?) delay into a loading bay a few vlogs ago was explained; with diiplomacy, but I personally found interesting. A daily vlog; I say no, only because the extra pressure. Look after your family & self matey!
Hi David, in my opinion 2 vlogs in a week is plenty......by the time you get your day finished the last thing you want to do is edit and upload video clips for us and then try to get sleep or maybe waiste your weekend editing 5 vlogs....im an X trucker and i love to watch vlogs but as a driver im sure theres a lot more things you want/could do with your time off other than sitting down to watch your wek all over again......keep at the vlogs and i think you're doing a great job....cheers
