Kind of torn between having windows high for privacy and windows lowered for views. I think if I do another building I will have the builder do a mix and match kind of thing. Jealous of your ability to burn stuff Robert. Cochise County is super strict on that one from what I know. Cheers!

Here,, no one can see what I do when I do it.. Mix and match sounds perfect.. Put the couch and kitchen table area windows lower.. or bigger windows.. If I had put 4' tall x 3' wide for the porch windows and 4' x 2' wide for the south facing it would have been perfect.. Someone has to bitch before there can be a problem burning trash.. Here,, no one can see when I do it.. (I have no idea if they are strict here about that or not).. Thanks for watching.. ..Happy Trails.!!

Another nice Friday morning visit. Mid 80’s sounds a little too hot still lol. I’ll keep my 50’s for a couple of weeks, then be green with envy.

below mid 80's I get chilly.. 80 - 85 is the temperature where it is too hot in the sun and too cold in the shade.. It gets down to mid 50's which is perfect for sleeping,, but I want the sun for warmth asap.. ..You get some snow there,, correct,, Don't you like the snow.? Thanks for watching.. ..Happy Trails.!!

What Ho mate. In the UK bedroom windowsills are higher than lounges, etc. The only reason I can think of is that you can't get caught with your knickers down by neighbors. Guessing I would say our bedroom windows are about the same height as your windows. Maybe they don't want your neighbors seeing your 'bits' when you get dressed, not that you have any - neighbors that is. Net curtains used to be the golden rule in bedrooms, etc. and ordinary curtains as well. Took me ages to get the old dragon to get rid of those nets. Look after yourself - regards.

In the bedroom windows this high are fine.. but when I am sitting at my couch or kitchen table,, (if I had a table),, when looking out the window,, I prefer to be able to see more than just blue sky and the very tops of mountains.. I may check into the cost of replacing the 4 windows by the couch and having them lowered.. sometime.. in the future.. maybe.. My thought has always been if someone is looking purposefully,, let them see,, put on a show.. but I want my curtains open.. wide.. during the day.. Thanks for watching.. ..Happy Trails.!!

As much as 'that area' has grown, I wouldn't be surprised to see an emergency medical facility go in if it hasn't already.. how many small businesses are in & around there now? I remember when you worried about getting to the gas station before they closed if you weren't carrying any -- long before you could just swipe, fill & go -- the next gas being all the way in to the south end of TMP on AW. I don't think I would ever get tired of living in that valley.. lots & lots of room to grow & still maintain privacy with unrestricted views.. you Sir, have chosen wisely... ;^)

there are 2 dollar stores,, a grocery/hardware/propane/gas station,, ~3 restaurants,, cupla feed stores,, 2 convenience stores,, that is it for an entire ~20 mile loop.. No where near enough for a major investment like a med facility.. at least until they decide the specific route of the I-11 freeway.. I believe I have got the best piece of property out here, so Thank you,, I did choose wisely.. Thanks for watching.. ..Happy Trails.!!

Kind of a toss up.. during rush hour I go slow, which saves fuel,, but during other times I can drive faster than safely,, or leave it parked.. For almost a week now it has gotten O miles for O gallons.. google app said I have traveled 1870 miles so far this year.. 170 of that just to get mail.. Thanks for watching.. ..Happy Trails.!!

I am in Pima county.. Rural like I am no permit needed.. 3 miles closer to Tucson a permit is probably needed,, dunno.. Thanks for watching.. ..Happy Trails.!!

We have had people move in down the road and it has been brutal. Nonstop traffic now where there once was none. They aren’t doing anything wrong. They’re just there. Lol. I guess peace and quiet is a thing of the past here on our off grid place. ❤️😊

How much does it cost to fill up 1 of ur Big water holding tanks " like the green 1" 😎👍..what county is that where ur friend bought those lots?

The green tank is a 2500 gallon tank.. I can get 2100 gallons of clean, potable water delivered out here for ~160 bucks.. That breaks down into 2 cents a gallon plus 55 dollar an hour delivery fee.. .We are both in Pima county.. Thanks for watching.. ..Happy Trails.!!

@@deserthorizons well out in Ca in San bernadino its mandatory that 1 have a well drilled before any livable structure is built or placed on the land and wells out there coat 25 to $35,000, so I sold my 20 acres after finding out Arizona < cochise county > accepts water hauling as a alternative to having a well drilled ...sounds like more freedom in AZ 🤷‍♂️🤣, just bought 5 acres today so I'm watching and learning from those of u that have already started a homestead 😎👍
