Medvedev made the remarks while responding to Vladimir Putin's "buffer zone" plan. According to the apparent plan, Moscow could consider establishing a "buffer zone" in Ukraine to prevent Russian regions from being shelled. Lviv, the city Medvedev is referring to, shares its border with NATO nation Poland. The plan to push war to NATO nations' doors comes amid a bigger war threat.
