mavericks are very stinky against actual tanks, they aint to bad against AA but when it comes to tank.... they just don't hit center mass, half the time they track the engine or tracks of a tank, its a clear nerf to there performance, its the same thing that they did to the spikes. the biggest problems with mavericks is that they don't track center mass, they don't have any sort of over pressure, I literally remember hitting a bmp1 and not over pressuring it, they literally act like 120 heat, and lastly they are missing sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much penetration, in WT gaijin calculates the amount of penetration a shaped charge will have based on its caliber... make that one make sense for the maverick with only 830 mm of penetration.
Now imagine the PARS from the Ec 665 UHT, they are slow, explode in mid air, land on most armored place of the target, they can be shot down, etc. Gaijin only favors Russia in top tier.

@@EntrailraiderErr, actually even according to Gaijin themselves at least 5 vehicles were equipped with it in 2005, 10 years before the SEPV3s introductions… meanwhile they gave the T-80B thermals because a singular prototype was equipped with it. A few years later, the license for the 5 DU hulls was amended, which means we don’t know how many had them between 2005- and 2016, but there no longer continued to be a limit of only 5.

I would like to point out how the M1128 that killed Phly at 4:16 only took damage from the SABOT CASING. The apfsds round went straight through and didn’t spall at all but that’s okay because the fricking shell casing PENETRATED THE ENGINE BLOCK.
In WT they have targeting pods with good imaging when in reality their targeting pods are known for their awful resolution and this is verifiable unless you take info from RT

Also the KH-38MT is literally just a fire and forget ML but fire and forget from 20km is just not realistic. It takes way too long to get there and by the time it does the enemy is often in cover or the missile lost lock somehow. The SM3 still has 4 hardpoints on top of that where you can take 4 S-25s that all easily 1 shot tanks.
@@ILikeTuwtles the MT locks in point mode until about 13km. Although Su-25SM3 and pantsir seem to be so popular that i get ussr vs ussr matches pretty often now. But su-25s have one big flaw - slow as shit and poor maneouverability. The gripen can climb high and get above battle in no time + considering average pantsir player IQ (mostly on todler unga bunga level) its actually pretty enjoyable. And i get a lot of battles where ussr doesn't spawn a single anti air so i find gripen cas pretty enjoyable now

This is the inelegant of Russian players when they die half of them get into pantsier and the other half in su25 so they can cover each other and secure victory
Thing is: Russians are actually my preferred enemy: Aside weird stuff like shots through a sprocket getting deflected by the front plate(?), their one-shot spots are basically muscle memory and their Su pilots tend to fight at melee range. A bit like Americans at 4.0-5.0, except those actually suffer. Disclaimer: I play 10.3 mostly.

Use russian vehicals present in other tech trees for Example I play t72m1 in german tech trees for some reason the t72 is literally a beast tanking 7 shoots and moving fast and having good apfsds round and being beautiful itself with no downsides even it's he sometimes more powerful then mordern articlery he of 155mm cannons

Debatable tie for first place, but at least the gripen has to get in range of the pantsir to lob agm65G’s. And if you do go for the 20km maverick launch, the missile is slow af and unless you shoot at a stationary pantsir (which might as well will just shoot down the maverick anyways) it’s gonna miss
@ComradePanzer russia has 1 decent 11.7 (BVM) and then every other tank in the lineup is either mid or dogshit. They just have a lot of vehicles. Sure they have the pantsir (counterable if you are a good cas player) and the sm3 (F16C is just a better plane overall) but sweden, germany, france, and oh no surely bad USA are just straight better lineups at top tier. Everyone needs to stop coping and gain a few braincells.
LaserPig explained this really well in a video about the T-34. The vehicle, on paper, would be a great vehicle, should perform really well. But a great vehicle on paper becomes a shit vehicle in practice because of variables such as build quality, crew training, logistics etc. WarThunder implements vehicles solely on their schematics and stats.
to make things even worse - exactly that piece of shit in real life the T-34 has the best softstats in game - like , sharp movement, and when you stop you stop , no gun wobble no nothing. But Panzer Mark 3 and 4 or even panthers - you stop and and for ages the suspension wobbles around making you ineffective in close combat. War Thunder is reality in exact reverse. It is blatant russian Propaganda...
The funniest thing to think about is that if gaijin wanted to make tech trees somewhat realistic and with real world performance, then russian top tier scrap would have to be like 3.0-4.0 in BR lower than NATO top tiers. Hilarious as it is, a T-72 actually has at least 1 confirmed kill on a M1A1 Abrams (which was modernised to fit the M1A2 standards and was advertised as an equal to M1A2). There's a video of a T-72B3 destroying it with a tandem missile in Ukraine, so an argument could be made that a T-72 is better than an Abrams (despite the initial 20 y.o. difference)
Those tanks were really old, with outdated ammo and shitty crew. But statement about Gaijin only leaning towards realism when it suits them is completely true, not just about Russian tree, about anything they want.
@@Философ the abrams in the first Iraq war had 105mm cannons, while the t-72s had the 120s. I think? I’m really asking about how resilient Russian tanks are to any kind of damage in the game. Rangefinder or not, a 105mm cannon could easily knockout a t72. Hell, in the current day, the DU apfsds in the Sep v2 was designed to counter Russian armor improvements. So shouldn’t the t90 be easily killed regardless of shot placement (let’s say center mass)?

If you think about it. The same SPAA's that are in War Thunder pose no threat at all to you in DCS (if you're not too close). We have to start playing War Thunder like we are in DCS. Long range 20+km yeeting ATGM's.
I dont mind it in and of itself, its the problem that number one; nobody else has anything comparable, number two; nobody has anything comparable to the Pantsir, when in combo it means that it has no counter, not even a fighter which WOULD be what NATO nations SHOULD be using to counter CAS at top tier, and not really SPAA because its just a fact that for the longest time NATO neglected SPAA defense in favor of fighter defense, the problem is the Pantsir especially when spammed pretty much creates a no fly zone because there isnt effective weapon systems on NATO side in the air to counter it (yet), this means that even if you do send up fighters to counter the Su25, the Panstirs on its team can protect it. Hopefully the addition of Fox3s will enable Fighters to fire on Su25s well out of range of the Pantsirs protection bubble, later on I expect longer range ground attack systems to be added to NATO planes to allow them to counter the Pantsir.
Top tier WT is just kinda off putting. Ill stick to low and mid if and when I do play. Props are fun. WW2 tonks are fun. Top tier RB is basically Arcade w/ Missiles Everywhere.
