Also redoing the roof of a rotten Winnebago Brave 94, had removed the bottom part of the A/C but couldn’t figure out how to remove the top as it resisting but I donc see any way it could be screwed into the roof, I guess I gonna try to pull on it harder, it must have stick to the roofing material. Bruh, that looked so ez. I'm resurfacing the roof and giving this a shot as it was last item on roof. Wss gonna leave it cause it looked like a nightmare. Hope this helps

That was a tough one for me. I actually used a rope and slid it down the rails of an extension ladder that was leaned on the RV at the best angle I could utilize. I ended up pulling it back up the ladder the same way.
I just think a helicopter would be much easier. They may also have humans that drop down and trim nuisance branches. For a bit extra and time worthy they also clean gutters. @@remodelyourrv
How did u remove the pan mine is stuck to the roof. Everything else looks the same as yours both inside and out. I can't see anymore bolts than the 4 that came out initially
Hello, I am working on getting my ac unit off my vintage camper and it is basically glued down by rubber.. anyways I wanted to ask you.. I thought I had a wooden roof and I bought a roll out pvc roof to put on it... but it turns out I have an aluminum roof... do you know if I can out down thin plywood down on top of the aluminum and then put the pvc down. Thanks for any help

Nope...the bolts (super long) run from the inside of the RV up into the AC unit. There is a metal bracket/brace on the interior that the bolts go through. Once the bolts are run from the interior and through the bracket/brace and into the AC unit, they will "pull" the AC unit down towards the interior as you tighten them down. I hope that makes sense.
