The way that paragraph 8 reads if you full-time your warranty would be voided also. This is the case with most RV manufacturers. A lot of people say I would lie and not tell them I full time in my unit.
Thank you! Great video. SO many pieces of VERY helpful advice. We really appreciate you sharing your knowledge. And since yesterday was Veteran's Day, thank you for your service
I tow my 30 Foot Classic on the ball only on my 3500 dually. I use the shocker hitch to smooth out the ride. It sure generates a lots of questions when I arrive at campgrounds. It really upsets the tow police.
Lots of good information! I didn't hear you mention a generator, do you carry one? I just did three weeks out and didn't eat in a restaurant. Being solo with the dog, I just didn't feel it was necessary. I prepped some things before I left (like a meatloaf) carried some healthy microwave dinners, and a small cooler of fruit sits in the passenger seat while driving. By the time I pull in at night, the last thing I want to do is prep a big dinner. You seem to have hit a good balance of being frugal, but you don't seem to be scrimping. Value!
We do not now, nor have we ever used a generator. They are fantastic and a MUCH cheaper option than a giant solar/lithium upgrade. Although we have a substantial system now, it's only that way because I could do the work for free. We do our best to prep and cook easy meals that require little to no cleanup to conserve water and propane.
I cannot thank you enough for your extremely informative videos. I have learned so much and have watched the videos over and over. I do have one small wish list request. I find the majority of your videos difficult to hear. The sound is distorted & low and at times I need to rewind just to catch what you’ve said…because I want to hear ALL of your excellent narrative (yes my volume is up high and I have tried listening on several devices). Perhaps there is a way to tweak your sound during recording? Regardless, I will continue to watch and recommend your channel as your content is top shelf. Wishing you both the best over the holiday season and into 2024.
Thank you very much for watching and for your feedback and info. I try my best to work n the sound and have recently purchased some better microphones. I have significant hearing loss from my time as a Marine and have difficulty editing sound. I’m working in earnest to make them better. Thank you again for the feedback as we always aim to get better.
I thank you for your service and am sorry to learn of your hearing loss. Please accept my apology as I was unaware of how editing could bring challenges for you. I cannot say enough of how I appreciate your videos just the way they are so kick my comment to the curb. I look forward to the next video.
I’m grateful for the feedback and appreciate you making us a part of your journey. If you have any recommendations or requests for videos, let me know!
I think that truck can haul 12,000lb+ (depends on trim level) with a 2100 payload. GVRW of a 27' is 7600 and hitch weight is 850. That said, there is a * in the Ford paperwork about hitch class. Some should not exceed a 7k trailer and others a 6k trailer. You would need to ensure that it has the highest class towing package on it. I began carrying a solar suitcase. I was wondering, does anyone use a portable solar panel to charge a "solar generator" (I hate that term) and use that to power an electric blanket instead of using the furnace? Obviously not below zero, but I had some nights in the low forties while dry camping.
We have a portable panel that we use to charge the rig and have seen people use the set up youre referring to on occasion. We dont have the 'solar generator' but we are in contact with a company to possibly do a review of one.
I use a wire toothbrush and contact cleaner. amzn.to/3RckLt4 amzn.to/46tU7R2 Also, the video coming tomorrow addresses a cover I use for the plug. amzn.to/46uGq4m
