Thanks for the tips. I just snagged a Little Wonder with a Kohler Magnum 8hp about 10 yrs old. I'll still use my Husqvarna backpack blower for gardens, edges, and tight areas. I do many acres at two large properties around town as a volunteer grounds keeper. PaulL

You live in a beautiful neighborhood man. Nothing I love more than watching this old iron running and put to work.

I'm loving this video I've r a n giant vac for years equipment that is a good tip is to keep the lawn mowing short the leaves will blow into your neighbor's yard and what you do have tends to pick up way easier

Very good point on keeping the lawn short. That is key, this lawn was mowed last week also. Thanks for watching , go Giant Vac :)

I've been dumping all our leaves in our garden. Trying to get a solid bed of about 12", then plant in those leaves next year. Need to build up the soil some. That blower is a beast. Really can move some leaves.

The leaves sure make great compost material that’s for sure

Great stuff Ralph! How's the plans for the barn coming? All that fine vintage iron deserves a roof over their heads🤔

Gary , unfortunately I have been super busy lately and haven’t had the time to think about the barn :( ugghhhh

Just goes to show that having the right equipment makes jobs like that easy!

Touch/move the leaves as little as possible. If you can suck them up that’s best. You pick them up once the most efficient method. Moving from one side to the other is wasted movements. Lean Thinking

Awesome video! What horse power is the giant vac vacuum on the trailer? Edit: And also what diameter of hose size are you using?
@rw3dog
@rw3dog Год назад
Thanks, the trailer has a 8.0 Intek. The hose is 6” I think

For God's sake, go to a Briggs and Stratton dealer and get a new OE carb for that machine! Please don't buy a Chinese knock off.
@rw3dog
@rw3dog Год назад
These machines both have OEM carbs , not sure what you are referring to ?
@erikg.2666
@erikg.2666 Год назад
@@rw3dog Your leaf blower has carb issues, as evidenced by the fact that you seem to have to constantly adjust the main high speed needle when it starts to faulter.
@rw3dog
@rw3dog Год назад
@@erikg.2666 very good catch, the machine is stored outside and the foam air cleaner was damp so it keeps sucking some water through the carb and needs a turn once in a while….

Surprised you don't have one of those gravely blowers. Always wanted one.

I had one once. It wasn’t very well engineered, so I sold it. I know that’s hard to believe
