My screen froze for a few seconds during their reaction to Qrow gulping down the booze, JUST as Goodwitch was blinking, giving her the most hilarious "goddamnit, Qrow" expression. :D
How the hell does this scene feel more like it's from an anime??? It's so good! The convo is just well thought of and the atmosphere is really dynamic.
Ironwood and Qrow's relationship went from: "If you were one of my men I would have you shot." "If I were one of your men, I'd shoot myself." To: Ironwood: I'm so glad to see you *hugs Qrow* Qrow: *gently pats him on the back*
It ended up as: Ironwood: I am ordering you, TO SURRENDER THAT DATAPAD! Qrow: I'm not one of you "minions" James, I don't take orders from you. Ironwood: ARREST THAT MAN! Qrow: I have a job to do, if you won't help, I'll do it myself.
C S Oscar is ACTUALLY based off of a character from the second book of the series named “Tip”! As it is revealed later he is *SEASON SIX SPOILER ALERT* Princess Ozma! Just as we learn Oscar TECHNICALLY is the famed knight of the same name. This series is HEAVILY based off the book series! I’d recommend reading it, but it kinda does make the show a bit easy to predict.
King Doppelgänger Correct! As well as Rapunzel, and likely but not confirmed, Pandora from Pandora’s Box! *SEASON SIX SPOILER* That bit with her and the Gods reminded of the tale a little bit.
Night Rise Yeah. I didn’t understand that scene at all. Qrow and Ironwood were never on good terms with each other (even though they technically work together).
It most probably was a Bug Hug😆. The scene itself felt quite a bit outta place & without much emotional bearing, so Ironwood most likely must've place a chip on Qrow's cape or something😬
@@fanthumbz4126 BUG HUG!! What a wonderful name for something so terrible. Yeah I agree with you though, I'm sure he bugged Qrow somehow. Can't wait to see Qrow and Ironwood's fallout once Qrow finds out :))) /s
@@Chillerd tbf, The new guy is actually a lot better at giving Qrow emotion. That isn't to say Vick couldn't do it, but the new guy is really good at making Qrow sound distressed, anxious, and a really good switch from casual to serious.
@@shellyjelly790 The fact that they fired such a great VA like that is the actual sad one... And I'm saying it as someone who actually first heard of Vic thanks to RWBY...
Rei_whatislife -.- her voice actress got fired from Rooster Teeth for calling Bernie (Taiyang’s VA)’s wife a whore. she also support Shane’s #lettergate against RT.
@@seasalticecream way to twist someones words... she said she would not have gotten the position if she was not in a relationship with Bernie... big difference... its a accusation of favoritism and bias...
@@happyjohn354 yeah yeah same difference, glynda's VA was drunk and tweeted stupid shit that got her fired. she had twitter beef with several of the key members of Rooster Teeth and that got her kicked out.
Hey that fight in season 4 was amazing. Everything else is just the result of his morale being down. Which is understandable given the recent bombshells.
If you go and watch the actual scene (with all the parts missing in this video included), you should focus on the positioning of the people in the room. At first, it is Glynda, Ozpin, and Ironwood facing Qrow. But at the end, it's Glynda, Ozpin, and Qrow facing Ironwood, making it clear that the former agree that Ironwood *did* mess up in bringing his fleet and that Ironwood's position is the minority view, despite how it appeared at the beginning. And then, later, we find out that Ironwood went behind Ozpin's back, which led to even more trouble when later events were unleashed.
I have this unsettle feeling that Rooster Teeth is going to kill Qrow off. In a way, i see it as a good and bad thing. The good thing is, RWBY has too many characters, so killing off Qrow would focus more on less characters and rejoin in on old favorites from volume 1-3. In a bad way, Vic will never come back finishing his character and fans will be angry, Qrow is the uncle we all want in the series.
Not that I don’t appreciate Qrow’s new voice actor, objectively he does a better job at giving him emotion, but Vic did not deserve to be replaced the way he did and he better be given a “Scrooge” sized compensation.
This reminds me so much of that scene, from some show i Cant remember The name of. Where one is like “if i was your husband id poison your coffee” and The other is like “if i was your wife id drink it”.
You've got it backwards. Someone once told Churchill that if he were her husband, she'd poison his tea. He responded by saying if she was his wife, he'd drink it.
Qrow is perfect… he doesn’t care what other people think about him. he cares about his nieces like they’re his own daughters. he wants to protect them with his life but he doesn’t want to hurt them with his bad luck. He works hard for ozpin and gives us the love and support we need to push on. He tries to hide his depression but we can see it in season five and six… Like this comment or say something nice if you support what I’m saying
I’m still want to know about some of these creations Qrow has seen. We didn’t see Salem’s custom killer Grimm until well into the Atlas Arc. Which was just the Hound, and Monstro.
Qrow had such a distinct voice back these early volumes that, no matter how hard Jason Liebrecht tries, no one will ever be able to replicate. I mean Jason SOUNDS Like Qrow, but he doesn't FEEL like Qrow.

Funny, coming from the guy who started a fight out in the open of the entire Academy. Sounds to me, Qrow didn't give a damn either, more so since, considering he said the enemy is here. But no, he decides to pick a pointless fight with Winter.
Hi, random person here, hope ya don't mind me talking to you. Is it bad that I'm hoping it *will* get better? I've been here since the Red Trailer and I'm praying that nothing like Vol 4 and 5 will happen again. Volume 7 is... alright so far. What don't you like about it?
@@runningovertime3072 I don't think there's anyone who doesn't want *that*. So you have been in this fandom for a long time. Same for me. I do think V7 is much better than the previous 3. In terms of flow and cuts it is a huge improvement. But I must say it still doesn't live up to Monty's project. My main problem is with the side characters. They are so *NOT* lovable. Look what Penny has become - her hair is SO WRONG. And General Ironwood? Where did his charm go? He used to be so assertive and actually looks like a general. Now? His voice sounds like a random teen trying to be a man. Not to mention his personal huntresses and huntsmen. They are all so boring. I can just tell the creators aren't putting much effort into them. I want characters like Violet or Emerald, not some irrelevant character who I instantly forget about.
@@sherenewong3406 Yeah, I get what you mean. I feel like they made Ironwood... is desperate the right word? I mean, it just felt off when he went straight for Ozma when he thought Ozpin was there. Like a giant metal puppy.
I did pull out after adams death and how they decided to end his arc for a ship. And since then I don’t think they’ve really jumped past that which I’m so upset about. I actually really liked volume 3 in its entirety and actually gave volume 4 a pass cause of everything that happened in the previous volume but now I’m just so done with it now
@@cbbartman1360 volume 3 is the best volume in my opinion. Also I hate the way they killed off Adam. Adam is supposed to be strong and charming and they threw him off a cliff and ended his character. That's absolute garbage
