Ruby shutting the box made me think back to when Yang got her arm. Yang made it clear she wasn't ready to pick it up yet and Tai acknowledged that, here Ruby is starting to panic and the others don't notice, they cheer that she got her weapon back but miss what really happened so Ruby bottles up more of her anxiety for the others sake

Too bad Torchwood Boy's not there to see this. He's known about it since Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. And would have loved to see just one scene that would make his day.

Yeah, it's all pretty great and this is probably my favorite Chapter of the Volume so far. Unfortunately I was spoiled for the Bees, and Crescent Rose. Why do people upload clips onto RU-vid? At least wait a few more days or something.

While I wasn't as deeply invested in the ship as most, just thought it was nice but man, the utter despise some people feel for it is something else. I knew not everyone was happy with it, but acting like this is the turning point to drop the series, saying that the writers are "shitting on Monty's grave" and more is staggering to me. While some went for the "homo propaganda show now huh" route, it's ridiculous how many are citing Monty as a reason why this shouldn't have happened.

I do remember an interview where Monty himself did say that some of the characters introduced at that point were not necessarily straight...most definitely hinting at Yang and Blake. So yeah, definitely agree that using Monty's name as an excuse to bash the ship is ridiculous.

Happy for that they committed to Blake/Yang relationship but like I don’t know why the pairing never resonated with me. Not mad or anything just feel “ok cool and whatever”
