Yes most treadmills dont go more than 10mph or 6min mile pace. That covers almost 100percent of the human population. That pace alone is more than enough for any elite athlete especially if the treadmill has an incline feature.
Trent Gill if you have an incline feature of say 5 to 7percent on a treadmill that goes as fast as 10mph you can easily duplicate the effort of 13mph. But elite runners dont want to this too often as such efforts are best reserved for races.
