So I was sitting in my cabin that I made with a chainsaw and I made a chandelier out of machete’s and I used a ryobi battery and lights with plastic glow in the dark mounting bracket that I 3 D printed on a machine. For my next project I’m going to make a time machine out of my 4 wheeler! You are a very ingenious guy. Love this channel.
Hey Ryan! You're my hero! I'm 75 yrs old and I get up extra early on Sat. morning, just so I can see what wacco things you're going to do next! See you next week.
Dude you are hysterical. What an imagination and yet all your ideas somehow come to reality. For me the best part is when you have a belly laugh at your own genius! At any rate we all adore sharing your terrific experiences on the Worm. Saturday morning with Ryan best way to start a weekend 🥰🇨🇦😉👵
I found this channel a couple/few years ago by searching for "winter camping." Here I am, a couple years later, watching religiously every weekend for all the chainsawing, 3d printing, sewing, electrical, etc and I love it. You're so incredibly creative, and talented, so much fun to watch.
When he said "I need a metal brake", I was thinking: "I wonder if you could build one of those out of wood." ....5 minutes later, Ryan builds one. lol. I love it.
Hi Ryan, I 'm a 67 year old woman who can't explain why I love your posts. I've binge watched all your posts over the last month and am now having to wait for Saturday to catch a new one. I'm looking forward to your kitchen build. Keep 'em coming, eh!
Ryan you are such a out of box thinker with all these crazy projects. But they all work, I think Ryobi should sponsor you. Love your channel & enthusiasm. I think you should market you new machete light, you could be a millionaire. LOL. Keep it real brotha. Stay toasty
Iv said this a few times brother 🙏 but want to say it again...THANK YOU you was the reason I started chainsaw milling and started my channel! Iv watched from the beginning! My wife and I look forward to watching! Now we have sponsors and bandsaws! This has to be one of the coolest builds so far!!! 😎
Now, that will be a great romantic lighting with the dimming of your light. ❤. You might think that you are not teaching something, but you have great ideas for off grid living.
OMG this is f***ing amazing. This video is the best one I've seen in a few months. Thank you for making the machete chandelier! There are things in life that we don't realize would be awesome until we see someone making them.
Very much appreciating the attention to detail of blunting the machetes before hanging - still, be advised that even a knitting needle can still puncture you with enough force like, say, gravity? Very much enjoying this episode of, er,homecrafts?
Great video! I love the ceiling machete light and bent edges looks so much nicer! Now I’m trying to figure out how I can make a knife light in my art room! lol
Maybe consider an amber gel for your chandelier to defuse fluorescent ryobi light and give off a more subtle warm glow that is much more pleasant and inviting..thank me later
Welp, I started last Sunday with your very first video and just got done watching every one of them. It's really wonderful watching what you've accomplished and how your skills evolved over the past few years. Thanks for the great videos delivered in a very entertaining way. - Bob Yeager
This is awesome great work! I think those 3D printed housings for the battery would look so much better if you cut a rectangle out of the wood and mounted them from the inside of the wall (sticking through). That way they wouldn’t stick out from the wall so much. You could just 3D print a bezel to go on the outside to cover the screw holes or something. Hopefully that makes sense. Anyway great job! Cheers from Canada.
Now all need is some solder panels to change up your power bank . It didn't matter what you do out there and what you build I will be here to watch your videos I in joy them all look forward for the next new video
The key to drilling all hardened blades, and chainsaw bars is start with a sharp drill bit use cutting oil and heavy pressure, slow speed, don't let the bit turn with out cutting a chip, As soon as the bit rotates with out cutting it hardens the blade in the bottom of the hole, sometimes you can flip it over and finish the hole. a carbide tip masonry bit helps. Try a reflector under the bulb to reflect the light back up to the blades.
I think you need a machete ceiling fan. You should sell your wall bracket for the Ryobi lights... or the CAD file. I bet you could make a drill press from chainsaw lumber! Always good Saturday entertainment!
Couple tips for ya next time you’re drilling through hardened steel. If you heat it up and allow it to cool you’ll take the temper out of the steel making it softer also cobalt steel drill bits are the best for drilling through steel.
Now you have to buy a fan kit & turn it into a celing fan... not that; thats more dangerous then a machete light or anything..lol. 😂see ya next Saturday Morning..as always L❤VE from Kentucky!
ok ryan lets talk buddy . these lights are great but now you need a small outdoor solar panel . just for the light batteries . that way you dont ever have to charge them they will charge themselves or even a solar powered charging station you can plug all your batteries into . the light looks great and if you have a issue with flicker you get it from leds sometimes just wire in a capacitor between the light lead and the hot wire . i think that will take care of any flicker . but great idea .
Dude. So very cool. I really like how you are open minded / courageous enough to try new things. But yet single minded and resilient to not take short cuts or settle for the obvious easy path. I’ve been watching for almost 2 years. I can’t afford patreon right now. So you might have already explained it. But where do you poop? Also do you hunt any vermin on your land?
Brilliant chandelier. Could you have fit one more machete to fill the remaining gaps? Or maybe put a small gap between the each of the machetes to even out the gaps. My OCD kinda got triggered by the uneven gaps. Can you tell? The small gaps in between the ceiling boards were well thought out to allow the tucking in of wires. Way to think and plan a head. Thanks for the video.
Since you were talking about heating. How about you install Chinese diesel heater for backup heater. And for shower you could use diesel water heater. Quick and easy small project also. And much more energy efficient than propane.
I had to do something similar to get rid of my ringworm. High stakes engineering right? Well, have a good one my brother in creatively conquering fungal invaders.
