I was spell-bound by his performance and interpretation of this concerto. He moved me to tears. Ryoshu, the music world is going to hear more from you. You play with feeling and best of all you did not display artificial movements on stage. This is the best recording I have heard in years. Hang in there my friend.. Terrence Jayatilaka
Violin: Ryosuke Suho (Japan) Orchestra: T. Szeligowski Poznań Philharmonic Conductors: Łukasz Borowicz and Marek Pijarowski Johannes Brahms (1833-1897) Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 77 1:03 - I. Allegro ma non troppo 25:38 - II. Adagio 34:36 - III. Allegro giocoso, ma non troppo vivace - Poco più presto
Just for clarification, where do you know this from? I have seen some people say the same but I tried to research it myself and could not find any source to confirm this so I'm really confused. If Suho is a woman it's no deal of course but I thought I saw Suho referred to as Mr. in a previous competition so I don't know which is correct. (I don't really like following unsourced statements and possibly spread something false so I just want to make sure.)
At first, I wasn't able to concentrate on the music because I was worried about the appearance, but after listening to it many times, I was no longer satisfied with the performances played by other players. I think he was playing the best now. Men and women are irrelevant, there may still be such prejudices, just listen to the performance.
Confusing as to if Ryosuke Suho is female or male but it would seem to me that judging by other videos that I have seen e.g. Link below for just one, that he is a male to female type of person, excellent violinist though and that is all that really matters !! . In the this video e.g., he is wearing female shoes and also appears to have black stockings on. In another video he is wearing a female type yellow top, with girls jeans. eg below Międzynarodowy Konkurs Skrzypcowy I'm. Ryosuke Suho introduction - Sibelius Violin Competition 2015 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YVO9Uqs538U.html The winner was Veriko Tchumburidze who recieved polite applause at the prize awards ceremony, the audiences winner by a mile was Bomsori Kim who recieved so much more applause, a bit embarrassing for the winner and judges !!
Dark Unknown He would seem to be a very feminine sort of man who likes to wear feminine type clothes. Millions of people like this worldwide, both male and female, now known as being ''Gender Fluid''....it happens and they are just being who they want to be.
