Hello folks, I figured I would still review these repaints of Godzilla and Kong from the hit Legendary and Warner Bros film, Godzilla x Kong The New Empire. There are some worthy notes about these figures with some criticisms as well. What do you think? Picking these bad boys up?? 👀

@@CepiTheNomad I mean it's true the price are cheaper and the joints won't pop off like sh monsterarts You should get sh figuarts Red king from ultraman because it's more better than sh monsterarts and came with better detail accessories

I have the Godzilla so far, I'd say that figure is pretty underrated You can get a lot out of his tail, he could bite his own tail, do the tail slide, and get his tail far forward I'd also say with the atomic breath being warpable, you could warp it so the breath could curve like if he's moving his aim

Yeah I guess you just have to be gentle with the tail, I can get it to articulate pretty well now. And that’s a good point with the breath! Could get it to add a lot of movement to the pose

Kind of tempted to get the Kong, I wanna mod it together with the heads of the HIYA GvK Kong as I faaaaaar prefer the look of how they did the head but the articulation on that figure does frustrate me. I just don't like the SHMA MV Godzilla mold though I'm ngl. It's just too skinny for the DougheGoji design IMO.

Do it. The matte is so much better than the glossier paint of his previous releases, imo.

ABOUT TIME REVIEW BOY! 😂 I’ve had my Kong for a little while now, and I gotta say I’m a big fan. He feels so nice to pose and I love the “grizzled” paint job they gave him!

People are saying s.h MonsterArts godzilla are just repaints from 2019 or the start of gxk he basically just stayed the same look (love the video I am getting these figures for my birthday it’s coming soon so I’m excited)

Yeah, it's a goofy head sculpt. Good thing they are updating it for evolved. I think they could be worth it but that's your call! Also, I will shout out you out in the beginning of next video too!

i've purchased many s.h.monsterarts godzillas, but i've now switched to hiya toys as i feel that they give you more for a better price. I won't go on all day explaining why, but thats my opinion!

Actually since evo Godzilla gets taller And the hiya evo Godzilla figure is just as tall as the normal one shma kong could scale pretty well with hiya evolved

Just got that GVK Kong and it's such a great figure and redeemed SH in my eyes. Got me to grab the Gamera Rebirth figure recently too. GVK Kong has great joints and no QC issues mine doesn't have a loose diaper either. Still going Hiya for everything else but might get SH Scar King for the scale and BEAST Glove. I prefer the monkes to be a little smaller than Godzilla and the Hiya GVK sucks in articulation and scale

Tbh, The SHMA Kong is perfect for Hiya Godzilla since Godzilla is taller than Kong. They just look the same height in the movie since Godzilla is always leaning forward. So... Lean Hiya Godzilla forward and you're Golden. That's what I do with them on my shelf. Yeah Hiya GvK Kong looks ugly as a Mf. The Skull Island is a welcome addition with how good the roaring face is but... It's Skull Island. Imma wait for the BEAST Glove Kong and see what they will do from the data they gathered from the GvK and SI Kongs. For now, My Hiya Godzilla is happily stomping my GxK Kong lmao (I bought the GxK because of the stupid Skar King Paywall Beast glove)
