Hope they keep the none scripted campfire moments, have many fond memories of Making it through a bandit camp just to find some old buddies still alive around a campfire.
the feeling where you just went through all parts of the zone, fought against hundreds of Bandits, Military and Monolith stalkers, and then you return back to your hometown, the Rookie Village in Cordon and see your buddies sitting around in a campfire playing the guitar. That's one of the reason why STALKER beat Fallout
Considering in the original STALKER the character would die within less than 2 seconds of crossing that door into open fire, I'm going to assume this video is set to Game Journalist difficulty
It was like watching someone play with a mouse and keyboard like it was a controller lol. The most unrealistic thing for me was that sensitivity 😄🤣 waaaay to slow
This looks like it could be a masterpiece. As long as we can set the difficulty higher. There's a reason the original STALKER was a "quicksave simulator".
A true stalker doesnt quick save every 5 seconds. My brother would load at the first sign of trouble. Or like would miss one bullet and be like "nope, F6"
This looks like. Nothing more. Can't, just can't believe GSC can handle this. Shadows were nice, Clear Sky is something with no plot, Pripyat - so, so. Almost all recent games were hardly something epic. Plots - nice. Trailers - epic. Musics - cool. All the rest - fail. CP2077 is a nice example. The only one is ME legendary edition. But hardly a new game.
You can always hear them in the night - the screams, the gunshots, the tortured roar of mutant beasts... and the whispers... as if the Zone is trying to talk to you. Spending the night outside of shelter is a journey like none other - your senses are sharper than scalpels, your instincts tell you of an impending attack, your rifle constantly being aimed at the darkness... you know that these fights rarely last longer than 10 seconds, and every single one of your shots is all that makes the difference between getting killed or not. Nobody ever gets used to the Zone.
Why did you ever think there will be no new game? Stalker is absolute successful. Stalker is one of the big games we all know. Like COD, BF, GTA, FIFA or Hitman etc.
@@Shadowwalker1717 Because the company that developed it almost went bankrupt and stopped making games altogether for years. Stalker 2 was as much of a meme as HL3
@@vtgare TBH it's still not the "same" studio it was before, name stays the same but the people changed. Im not sceptical tho, just curious about the outcome of this new game, it seems to had the same vibe as previous ones.
Oh the feeling of relief u got when u entered a safe zone and closed the door right away...I have never been so scared playing any other game...I remember quick saving every few seconds throughout my playthroughs ☺️
There's a difference between Stalker and Cyberpunk. When Cyberpunk was announced millions of people lost their minds. At the time of this comment there are 2600 comments and 31000 likes with roughly half a million views. The difference is everyone wanted to play Cyberpunk, only a handful of people even know what the Stalker games are. And how many people started to play them and gave up because of the glitches in the game? I'm not trying to gate keep here, I'm just saying that those of us that love and play the Stalker games are a rare breed. But... what would a Stalker game be without glitches.
Perhaps in your country, Stalker is a little-known niche project. That's just in the territory of the countries of the former USSR (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan ect), this game is cult, with a huge active community, modifications, fan films, a bunch of books, etc.
im scared only one things if this game be too simplificated like others, stalker must be hard and have damege inventory kurwa if not is not the stalker
@@zerghydralisk1837 don’t worry, this isn’t actual gameplay, it’ll probably be a little easier than regular stalker but they’ll probably have a hard mode.
Been replaying Stalker every few months. The world is just so alive that it draws me back in. It must be the Monolith calling out to me, worming its way into my brain. Must...return...
As long as the original atmosphere is kept, this game will be great. But even if it is beyond perfect in every way, someone will find something to complain about.
Usual, it will be very hard to meet people expectations after over 10 years without sequel. Challenge for You - put on headphones, turn audio up as convinient as possible, and watch such scenes as swamps, chornobyl 2 or duga 2, and try to listen between the notes, look at the lighing effects and sky, hear the ampbience, all the weird sounds, moans and cracks. The atmosphere is almost palpable, don't You fear.
@@imminentdeath8902 What do you mean the combat looked too call of duty for stalker? What is stalker combat meant to look like? The last game came out in 2009, that's extremely dated, they were basically working from the ground up when it came to everything short of the story itself. Even STALKER mods rely on the very old and outdated engine ... So, what are you saying exactly?
The Og STALKER still has the most chilling atmosphere any game can ever provide. There was something so weird about the world and exploring it felt so uneasy.
@@maximkikena622 You think they have to get it to you on a plate, like you're some king or something? Game isn't even out, he judges it. Freaking genius...
Maybe he has an exoskeleton and tons of bulletproof anomalies... More likely is the fact that this is just a trailer and they want to show off how pretty this game is. As long as it has the same atmosphere as the original, it will be fantastic.
@@Unknown-dm2ge Three Full-Empty artifacts turns you into a walking tank with any SEVA suit. Only high DMG weapons like sniper rifles can wound you, but you need two artifacts to counter the stamina debuff
Who else has watched this thing at least once a month since it was shown? I’m up to probably about 50 right now. And who thinks the stranger is Strelok, the legend of the zone?
you didnt get the trailer huh, Skif was telling a story... ofc he gonna tell them hes a badass, also its jsut for the flow of the trailer but packed into a belivable setting
@@observeurr it's not exactly necessary to join a Faction, you can actually finish the game even staying as a Loner, players just probably join Factions for their benefits or like it helps them progress more easier
*GSC Developers have given all the female staff the source code and sent off to Kiev while majority of the men participate with Local Militias to fight in this conflict.*
Только озвучка то говно) Малолетки озвучивают дядек, с чувствительной нехваткой опыта в сфере. Дядька сидящий в противогазе возле костра, когда все остальные без - рука-лицо)))
The stranger with the monologue about the zone being free reminds me of the stalker in the 1979 film with how attached he was to the zone and his life there.
this mostly looks like pre rendered stuff, and personally, I'm happy its like that. because no stalker gun fight would ever let you walk out in the open like that without getting your head blown off.
@@JohnSmith-eg6bl I'm sure it's just for the trailer, the recoil was one of the major difficulty lines in the older games and I'd at least expect them to keep it.
The only reason devs prefer Epic over Steam is because they offer a larger cut of the profits. So most devs release their game on Epic for the first year before making it available on Steam (e.g. Metro Exodus). Unfortunately GSC Game World have been through some rough financial difficulties since Stalker Call of Pripyat so it's possible they may do an Epic exclusive but then release it on Steam at a later date.
Everyone is bitching in the comments instead of celebrating the highly unlikely event of getting a new Stalker game. Some people won't be satisfied no matter what.
