All things considered, I'm amazed this game is still coming out. If ever there was a project that earned the right to go on indefinite hiatus, it's this. But I love that the team is pushing through and I hope this game gets all the recognition it deserves.

Will there be a version in Ukrainian with English Subtitles? Its very immersion breaking for me to hear all the characters speak english

Please let this be as good as it looks. It'd be a testament to true game designers if it is. Say what you want about AAA games, if this game is good, it'd show that even a full-blown war can't stop good game design, so other AAA devs will have no excuse for bad design.

Haven't been excited about a new game in awhile, this looks worthy of excitement.

FULLY SUPPORTING THIS GAME

As a someone who’s recently just discovered this series and have been playing through Shadow of Chernobyl this absolutely hits all the right notes for me. When I learned about the games I went back and read Roadside Picnic and watched Stalker. This game looks to be absolutely nailing the tone.

The gameplay is still like the old STALKER that I know and love but more story driven than before... instead of text of dialogues we get to see the story act out and the world looks soo much alive... Much respect to the developers

Expected to see something like an emission or blowout just to see how cataclismic it would be, nice trailer btw

I feel like the game may move away from the sandbox feel the originals had. The simplified UI looks cleaner but I truly hope all of the original game's mechanics are still there and more

Specially in survival mode, special mutant hunting quests will be amazing. like witcher 3 hunt quests. Side quest loops like this make this game more interactive.

what's with the American accents? every stalker entry has always had slav accents but still speaking English. is everyone really at the frontline? rest in peace to the devs. love the stalker franchise.

after having recently watched the original 'Stalker' movie by Andrei Tarkovsky, I found it very cool to see metal nuts used as a means to detect anomalies, like in 'Roadside Picnic' (the original novel the Tarkovsky movie was based on), as well as the almost religious fervor some of the characters seem to have for the Zone, but also in the ways that the devs and writers attempted to veer away from the original themes of the novel and movie - instead of a meteor causing the Zone and anomalies, it was a product of human experiments, there seem to be warring factions within the zone and the anomalies present seem to be a lot more mind-bending than those present at least in the movie (though this could have something to do with the fact that Tarkovsky's adaptation came out in 1979, before the advent of more advanced and realistic computer-generated visual effects). As a fan of the Metro books, Stalker, and the overall genre of Post-Soviet Sci-Fi, I am thoroughly looking forwards to this absolutely stunning game and what it will bring to the table for the genre in the games industry at large.

Dont let the day before ruin your expectations for good games. This game will be one of the best to come in a long time, for a long time. Be ready.

I hope they didn't change the core elements that made the game great. And I'm also begging them to take all the time they need to release it in a FINISHED state. Release it in 2026 I don't care just be good please, I love stalker games too much to see them ruin it

Voice acting is way off, this looks like a generic Call of Duty movie disguised as a "game" I'm very mixed about this.

It's nice that they have distanced themselves from the basically black-and-white super-gray "aesthetic" of so many stalker mods and made something that's colorful as well as intimidating. A hard balance, but they've struck it here.

I fear for the quality of this game's story. Some of these cutscenes give off heavy triple A marketing vibes

Compared this to the metro series until I remembered that this is probably the original. Good on the devs for managing to even get this out while their country is being invaded. Bless the devs and bless this game

I suffered through 100% completing the original 3 at 15-30fps on a terrible laptop, been a huge fan of chernobyl for years, unbelievably excited for this but I still don't have a way to play it yet 🤣😭

Killing monster and bandits, collecting artifacts to get better weapons and armor, chilling with Stalkers playing guitar at the bonfire....good old memories, hope this new game can bring all that back.

A real life STALKER was lost to the zone recently, Volodymyr Yezhov. Rest in Freedom... I hope he's immortalized in the game as a badass NPC defending a new zone.

Generic AAA studio graphics that are all glamour and no soul packaged with gutless floaty tacticool call of duty gun play. Throw in some base building and crafting and you got yourselves a multimillion best seller for sure. Can't wait to see it declared as the best game ever before consoomers who play it for a whopping 4 hours total move on to the next sparkly FOTW product.

what a precious gemstone of a game is coming, hope it is so open and lore friendly to modding as stalker always has been, if that is the case this game will still be evolving even 15 years after been released...for now, it is stunning the level of refinement in-game, well worth the 110€ they ask for the ultimate edition
