Thought I had commented on the last video, but apparently not! The Eagles nest has been on my list of places to visit, but not yet ticked that one. From your video I completely agree with you regarding how it’s been run. I would have liked it to have been a museum/ historical venue rather than a moneymaking theme park. It appears to be a little like Lands end in Cornwall, where it’s costs you to turn around!! The film “Where Eagles Dare” is one of my all time favourite films. I will be putting this location on my list of places to visit and looking forward to your video on that one. 👍

Well that's the Eagles Nest off of my to do list then. Totally agree with you that it should never have been commercialised and instead left how it was. I've visited many WW1 / 2 sites and the whole essence is standing in gun placements or wherever and using your imagination for how it was to have fought there. Did it as a kid in the 50s at Camber Sands when you could still get into the Pill Boxes. Now wondering whether Colditz would be better to visit. Thanks for saving me time and money.
