In this video we show how to change the oil and filter on our Kubota 3901 diesel tractor. We use standard Kubota oil and filters. The oil, filter and maintenance was performed at 50 hours. The oil change was not due until 400 hours, but we like to maintain the best performance possible, and changed it again at 200 hours and will schedule another change at the 400 hour interval.

What is that PVC cap modification on the pivot point of the loader? I have a L3301 and am always interested in making mods to help my efficiency.

My 3301 manual says to use a CJ4 oil. Are all oils CJ4? Is that a synthetic? My manual does not say whether to use 10W30 or 15 W40 or what. I hate my manual

Lol, I didn’t use mine either. I stopped by the Kubota dealer, told them I was changing oil and bought the recommended oil. The thing is if the viscosity isn’t what is recommended, and you have trouble with the engine, the warranty may be voided. So, I followed the recommendation

Not a company rep here, nor do I sell this product. I’m a long term user in my equipment. This is the very best additive for your engine oil. After several overhauls over the years in my diesel trucks, tractors, I see the difference. Archoil AR9100 Oil Additive (16oz) for All Vehicles A diesel mechanic referred me to it. It’s well worth the expense.
