I noticed you didn't install the block that goes behind the shifter. I was told that its needed because sometimes the s1 shifter assembly will shift a little causing the gears in the s1 sequential to "jam up." I have the same shifter for my v8 turbo fc3s.

Driving a couple of ks without the block...causes problems because assembly does shift. I "tested" before installing the block. Not a good idea. And the block could be pre-drilled outside the car, which will make fitting easier, just drill through base plate in the car. Not being able to get 5th and 6th may actually be adjustment problem...not no clutch.

So? I can put a s1 shifter on any manual transmission?

So you don’t need to change the entire transmission? Before you can install the S1shifter

Is it possible to add a sequential shifter to a stock R35? or was it only possible because you engine swapped etc? I cant seem to find any sequential shifter kits for the R35.

Men r35 have dsg or dct ,,dual cluch trans'' is an automatic gearbox....he has a manual transmision
