S1E34 Crashing, Breaking down, Stuck in the Desert!

I BROKE DOWN! From the Ilklurkla Roadhouse! Australia's most remote roadhouse, or even the most remote roadhouse in the world, who knows..... I'm taking off to make my way east to Coober Pedy, however this doesn't go whiteout struggles.... Along the way i take a crash while doing 70kms per hour in the sand..... If that wasn't enough..... I got stranded in the desert.... My tire has passed away.....
Note that this track has been done by me a few months ago, but due to some shocking circumstances i wasn't able to upload! Keep watching for more!

You definitely like to keep us hanging. I'm glad your not hurt and you can get your flat tyer fixed. Once I had to stuff my tyer with grass to keep going until I could fix it properly. That information isn't going to help you though. Looking forward to seeing what happens. As always keep safe 🙏

Hehe, Nothing better than a good cliffhanger! The old spinifex fillled tire hea? I have heared multiple people talk about this, i wonder if this would work on a sandy desert track..... Defenitly something to try out one day when not being remote! ;)

Lower tyre pressures and heavy loads = extra heat into the tyre. I am guessing you survived because we are watching this 😉. Hopefully it wasn't too stressful getting out and looking forward to the next Ep. Glad to see you were well prepared with water just in case of situations like this.

Thank you for taking the time to show where you are going to ride on a map. So many adventure rider's videos don't bother with that basic point. Will be curious to see how you deal with your situation. Bet you are wishing that they made adventure bikes that weigh 200 lb less.

Hey mate, Thanks for letting me know! Appreciate that you like the video's! i do really like my audience to see where i'm going! whit this map, you can visualize what the journey will look like!.... There are lighter adventure bikes, like the CRF Rally, or the Husqvarna 701, however i do really like the comfort of my Tenere, The CRF lacks power, and the husqy is a great bike, i just think its a bit less robust. Thanks for staying tuned! love to hear more from you!

Most Adventure riders carry spare tubes and the tools to change a tire.. and toob patching materials and an air pump ..

also stop straight away as you do damage to the valve stem and the casing very quickly when loaded.

Just put your spare tube in and if you dont carry one then you shouldnt be out there.

True, true, and more true! Replacing a tire should be able to be done everywhere, yet it is stressfull in the middle of the sticks!

If I could offer a suggestion for your consideration... You might try cleaning up your language if you want your subscriptions to maximize. I am not a prude and cursing doesn't particularly offend me, but it adds virtually nothing to the quality of your videos and will indeed offend a substantial number of potential subscribers.

Unfortunately, that is all that counts in today's world. The comment was meant to help him keep and maintain a larger audience, not just those of us who are coarse with our vocabulary skills. There are a lot of people who would be interested in his travels that aren't as crude as you and I.
