The day before, I thought I’d lost my bait to a big fish but I only had 1 shot at it as it didn’t come back for seconds….my bad I guess as I had used bait, a few days old, from the fridge. I didn’t think worms or tails had a best before date, apparently they do.
So I decided to come back the following day, this time with a plan as how to approach the hole. And fresh bait!
Looks like it worked.
The recent storm changed the landscape somewhat as that big willow lost a huge branch, making the entire hole impossible to fish from the back side.
So with a plan in mind, Alfred and I will go back to hole 4, as we call it, to look for the big female from video 4.
It was another fine day. One of these days I’ll try afternoon fishing although morning outings have been successful as the evidence shows!
