I am glad you guys are back up with minimal damage. I was planning to be at the Dragon to meet you guys in person. I will be in Florida the end of November hope to stop by your shop.
Thanks again for the CHD9 T-shirts I bought for me and my son that didn't make it out either! We only live 1½hrs from it in upper East Tennessee sadly but I wasn't able to switch my 97 ITR swap over to my 91 Tahitian Green Pearl Si Hatch from the 97 Ej8 Ex coupe I bought when we met last year! Really wanted to go but the bone stock 330k mile D16a6 has made it all these years and didn't want to stress it on the mountain even tho it's still peppy as ever and barely burns a drop. Oh well tho I kno we will see ya'll next year! Great video as always LHT gang! That AP1 has a whole new lease on life!
I got my shipment from you guys this past Friday! Much Mahalo!!! I can't wait to put on my rear bumper brace and post a video on it. I'll will definitely tag you when I post the video on RU-vid. Keep up the great work!!! 👍🏽
My buddy and I are going to make plans to hit the Dragon with you guys next year with both of our S2Ks that we just bought! Glad you guys are safe and we look forward to meeting you next year!
Thanks for taking care of my car John. It’s the Downforce lip. Also didn’t even check the weight of the oil as I assumed it was correct in the boxes :/
Downforce Garage for the AP2 lip diffuser/splitter, very good quality carbon piece. Happy to see the install as I haven't put mine on yet, but noticed the three mounting points in the center were way undersized for the factory shoulder bolts.
i would've sent this POS back. kudos to you guys for working on a car that's been neglected by its owner. he's got bigger problems than just a motor swap.
Was hoping my engine replacement would be done by your shop but the timetable didn’t work out unfortunately. This is what I envisioned went into doing this. That owner is going to be really happy with a like new engine.
Love the work! I so want to ship my car down for clutch install. I will be going to Macros Island for Christmas, which would be a great way to get the break in miles on our way home. :)
@LHTPerformance That’s funny. It takes me back to the good old days of setting mouse traps and being so scared that it would pinch my finger. It really makes you feel alive. I used to hold the outside of the metal trap and slowly take the slack out. Then, like a member of the bomb squad, be ready to yank my hands away if it didn't stay.
John, put some peanut butter on the traps. Mice are really careful and could set that trap off without a catch. Make them work for it. Also put them parallel up against the walls. Mice feel safe running the wall line especially when it’s dark. I live in a 1877 school house surrounded by farm fields. I know how to catch mice more than I like to admit. Haha
where was the steering wheel sent out to? I have a couple of old Italvolanti Imola steering wheels I want to have redone with perforated leather and millennium yellow stitching... I want to keep the inlaid Italvolanti badge too...
It is not. The OEM clutch is far superior, we’ve seen a lot of springs come out of the exedy disc. And the aftermarket bearing are terrible. They are OK on the B and D series though.
for some cars Exedy or rather Daikin Clutch company is OEM... don't know about for the S2K but I believe the guys here... seems they do so many S2K vids they'd know 😊
